Revelation 19:1-2 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: ‘Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. Revelation 19:19-20 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. Revelation is God’s PREVIEW that the worldly system will go under. Yeah but… is normally our EXCUSE to not obey God.
Revelation has in fact provided the port call of two ships to two DESTINATIONS. The way of the world promises HOPE but leads to ruin; the way of God knows TRIBULATION but ends in hope and glory.
Hallelujah means PRAISE Yahweh, or praise the Lord. We praise the Lord for WHO He is. If our praise is limited to what He does for us, then what we have is not love, but a COUNTERFEIT. Praise the Lord for WHAT He has done. Praise the Lord for what is yet to COME. Revelation is not about an ENDING as much as a new BEGINNING (R.C. Sproul).
Evil will be OVERTHROWN as in the end, Christ, and those with him, will be victorious. You destination depends on your choice of CAPTAIN.
