Oneness withgod Adam’s Oneness with God God Given Roles: • Adam was a son of God. Gen 1:26, e.g. Gen 5:3 (likeness, image) • Adam was a bridegroom. Gen 2:22-23 (espoused to Eve) • Adam was a priest. Gen 2:15 (see Num 3: 7-8) to dress and keep • Adam was a prophet. Genesis 2:19 (speak on behalf of God) • Adam was a king. Gen 1:26 (dominion was given to him)
