1) Jesus ascended into Heaven after his resurrection and is now seated at the right hand of the Father, where he continues his work. 2) Two realities that flow from Jesus' ascension are that Heaven is a real place, and Jesus continues his work there by opening access to God, sending the Holy Spirit, building his church, interceding for believers, and preparing an eternal home for believers. 3) Jesus has completed two "post-ascension" works - opening access to God and sending the Holy Spirit - and has three more works to go, including continuing his plan, interceding, and preparing heaven.

The Apostles’ CreedHe ascended into Heaven and is seated on the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
Acts 1:1-2In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.
Acts 1:3After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
Acts 1:9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
Acts 1:1In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach. . .
John 19:10Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

To help you understand the immense value and incredible wonder of this doctrine of the ascension of Christ.
#2Write a thank you letter to God for all that Jesus is currently doing for you: working his plan, interceding and advocating, and preparing a place.
