Global Intergenerational Week 2023, held from April 24-30, gathered participants from 14 countries to promote the benefits of intergenerational connections amidst a backdrop of social isolation and division. The campaign achieved significant engagement with over 523,000 social media impressions and 1,295 events worldwide, focusing on intergenerational learning and collaboration through various dynamically themed activities. The initiative aims to change perceptions of intergenerational practice from a 'nice-to-do' to an 'essential' component of social policy, education, and community development.
