INTRODUCTION
Although it has been more than 45 years since my visit to the eternal realm, the experience is still
as vivid, as if it had happened just yesterday. The message I received so long ago, has suddenly
become extremely pertinent today. It is clearly evident, that world events, seem to be leading us
directly into what was relayed to me, over four decades ago. The handwriting is already on the wall!
For many years after my visit to the eternal kingdom, I struggled with heaven's decision of
returning me to this realm. Life on earth is a gift and precious, but there is another world that awaits
us, which defies description, in any sense of the word. I had been given to taste of that world...if just
for a very brief moment in time. Since my spirit was in a realm where there is neither time nor space,
the duration of the entire experience seemed extremely long, although, the 'earthly' time length of it
had been...just a few minutes.
Along with the privilege of having had this profound revelation , came a tremendous
responsibility. I had been given a message, that must be shared with others and only on His perfect
timing. This message also had to remain pure, and be delivered in a totally non-objective manner. I
knew, only too well, that since much had been entrusted to me, much would be required of me. In
fact, I would be held accountable for every word of my humble account of it. It was, therefore, utterly
necessary , not to give my own interpretation. It was my obligation to be very careful and relay only
what was shown to me, either visually, or what was impressed upon my spirit.
Although the message was given 'to' me, it was not just 'for' me. I knew that I needed to be a very
wise steward of the entire experience. Therefore, I pray for wisdom in this endeavor. Only with the
help of the Most High God, can the message, which was given to me, while still a young girl, be
delivered exactly as He desires it be.
After all these years have passed, my soul still aches with the desire to be in that total union with
my Beloved, I had tasted…however fleetingly. A the years passed, I came to understand that no
matter what may, or may not, happen...He is always with me! Nothing, can ever separate me(us) from
His love! Nothing, I could aspire to, or attain on this earth, could ever satisfy my soul, the way that
one fleeting touch of my Beloved had. I would gladly give a thousand worlds, for one second in His
presence...
CHAPTER ONE: MY ASCENT
This was the summer of 1967, and I was just a normal teen age girl growing up in the big city of
New York during the turbulent 60's. Little did I know that I was about to experience something, which
would change my life dramatically from that moment on. This was to be a treasure, that I would
always hold in the very forefront of my mind, for the rest of my life. This was also the time, when the
Six Day War was waging in Israel. That tiny nation so far away meant nothing to me now, but soon
she would hold a place very dear to my heart.
Growing up in New York's inner city was many times difficult, sometimes fun, but always
interesting. Although, my neighborhood was part of the big city of New York, it had the feel of being a
small town, where everyone cared about their neighbors and friends. Those were good days to be
growing up in New York City, especially in the unique Fort Tryon Park area. I definitely had not had a
privileged upbringing...but never did I feel 'underprivileged,' either.
The multi-ethnic diversity of our neighborhood was fascinating. Most of our neighbors were
European immigrants, many of which were Holocaust survivors. This same cultural and religious
diversity that surrounded me, always led me to be interested in other faiths and belief systems. Which
one of the world's religions was the true religion, I often wondered? I knew that only one of these
religions had to hold the truth about God, creation, and the afterlife.
As a new immigrant, and a widow, my mother worked very hard just to make ends meet. She
would make sure that we lacked nothing in our little home. She also made sure that I had a formal
Catholic education. Looking back, I now feel extreme gratefulness, for the upbringing my mother gave
me. I'm not so sure that I would have done a better job than she did, as a single mom in the big city.
We had a happy home, although, growing up without a father, had not been easy for me. I respected
my mother's decision not to remarry, even though, this condemned me to a fatherless existence, for
the rest of my life.
Being a very spiritually inquisitive teenager, I sometimes found it difficult to believe some of
the doctrines that we were taught by the nuns and priests. After all, how could they be so sure that the
dogma and doctrine they were teaching us was, indeed, absolute truth? What about the other religions,
races, or cultures which did not, necessarily, embrace Catholicism? Didn't God also love them? These
were the thoughts that would go through my young mind at the time. The trinity, itself, made no sense
to me. How could God be one, and three, at the same time? How could I accept something as absolute
truth, which I found so utterly confusing? Then came the cross. Why did the God, who had created this
vast, and beautiful universe, require His only Son (or so they claimed), to suffer such a horrible and
gruesome death? I could not make the ultimate connection between the God of creation, and the God
taught to us in Catholic school.
When I witnessed the beauty and perfection in nature all around me, I knew that there had to be
a very loving God, somewhere. This same, awesome God had, to be worthy of my utmost praise and
devotion. All of creation gave clear evidence, and complete testimony of His greatness, majesty, and
wonder. My observations led me to believe that the 'true' faith had to be one that was also big enough
to include all peoples, of other races, and cultures. The God I was searching for had to be a God that
encompassed all of creation, itself. In a way, I was searching for 'more' of God and not 'less' of Him.
Somehow, there seemed to be a missing link between, the doctrine taught within the cold austere walls
of a church building, and the order and harmony I observed in nature, itself.
I was full of questions and inquiries. Instead of spending my time in normal teenage endeavors,
I would spend my free time searching for one thing only...'truth'. It was as if there was a spiritual
force urging me to continue seeking till I found it. At the age of thirteen, I was already pouring myself
into the sophisticated works of Aristotle, Socrates, the Bagivad Gita and the Upanishads.
The mystics of the Catholic Church were also sources of inspiration. These mystics had left all
their concern with the mundane, to dedicate themselves entirely to knowing and loving God. They had
demonstrated, to us, that it was possible to live a life of holiness in this world. Perhaps the reason for
my unrest, was the fact that I could observe some flaws in the religious themselves? Most of the nuns
were gentle and loving, yet some others were hard and cruel to us.
Basically, I was very dissatisfied with mainline Catholicism as a whole, and wanted to know where
I could find the living God. There didn't seem to be anything in particular that could have precipitated
what was about to happen to me, besides my relentless search for 'truth.' There had been nothing
special about this day, except for the fact that I had just had my fifteenth birthday. I had not been in
prayer and fasting, or any other spiritual endeavor. It was just a 'normal' summer's day...
All of a sudden I felt extremely tired, until it got to the point where I could no longer remain
standing. Succumbing to overwhelming fatigue, I could feel myself losing consciousness as
everything suddenly went blank. It was unknown to me, if there had been a medical reason for what
was about to occur to me, except for the fact that I suffered from a very slow metabolism. Since I was
alone, I have no way of knowing, if I did indeed 'die,' or if this had been a mystical experience...
After losing consciousness, I immediately felt my spirit lift up through my head and begin to
ascend. Through all of this, it felt as if I were still in my body. Although, soon, it was clearly evident
to me that my spirit was no longer in my body. It was incredibly wonderful, to experience the total
freedom of being released from all earthly physical confinement! It was truly fascinating, to
comprehend, in a very personal way, that we really do have souls! It all was exactly as they had taught
us in Catholic school! My spirit (the real 'me'), was totally free now! A comforting , sense of
protection engulfed and assured me, that I would be cared for, on this fascinating journey to the vast
unseen world of the spirit.
The sublime holiness of God permeated the heavens, as this incredible voyage took me higher and
further away from the earth! Although, all this was very strange, I did not feel any type of fear or
dread, throughout the duration of the entire experience. As my spirit found itself ascending into the
heavens, my consciousness also expanded, as it ascended. I was finally free to leave behind the
confinement of earthly matters such as time, space and distance. I had never realized how confining
earthly endeavors were, until I found myself totally free from all of them! This was a place where
past, present and future were all one!
My memory was suddenly free of any recollection of who I was, or where I had lived up until this
moment in time. It just really didn't seem to matter anymore. My spirit sensed that it was going to the
only 'real' home, that it would ever have. It was relishing the boundless and unconditional love of
God, that engulfed it to the utmost. This was 'home' since nothing had ever felt this 'right,' or this
fulfilling, before. There would finally be no more need of the father, that I had anxiously longed to
have, for so many years. My spirit was now in a pure state of just 'being,' and 'knowing.' Nothing else
mattered, or needed to be remembered. There was a certain sense of relief from having to live up to
something, or act in any certain way. I was being 'me,' in the true sense of the word. My consciousness
expanded outwards into the stratosphere, and inwards into the minutest and most hidden core of my
soul. It was as if, I had plugged into all the wisdom of the entire universe. Information was being
relayed to my spirit at a very rapid pace, in a way, that could never be accomplished through mere
words alone. I was being flooded with what seemed to be an endless flow of answers. Every question
or doubt, that I had ever had, was suddenly being answered, in extremely intricate detail, far beyond
my wildest expectations!
Reading these spiritual truths out of a book had been difficult to believe, yet, so easy to understand,
now, that they had become very personal! It was immediately evident to me that, reality is not what
we see with our eyes, but it lies far beyond anything we can observe in the physical realm. It cannot be
seen with the eyes, since what we see, is temporal and fleeting. Truth can only exist in the endless, and
eternal realm of the spirit. What we see is finite and perishes, therefore it is not a lasting reality.
'Truth' can only be found in the, unseen, realm of the eternal. There is much more to life than, what
has, or can ever enter into the mind of man.
My physical brain would never be able to contain such intense, and deep spiritual truths, for even
one second in time. This knowledge, and wisdom, was being relayed directly to my spirit. The human
mind can never understand the mysteries of the spirit, because it is simply not capable of grasping and
processing these infinite truths. Although it would be impossible to fully share the total experience, in
all of its sacredness and complexity, I knew that it would be possible to share, the heart of the
message. This, I will try and attempt to do, though there is still so much, that is impossible, to share
with anyone, even if I wanted to.
As my spirit ascended in the heavens, I could sense a perceptible realm of evil, directly above the
earth. This is the place where the forces of darkness continuously battle for control of the minds of
human beings. We do not fight against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities, in 'high'
places. My spirit traveled through this evil realm and continued passed it. I was accelerating so
rapidly that the stars seemed to give the effect of going through a tunnel of light.
At a distance, in the firmament, I could see an extremely brilliant light. A wonderful feeling of
peace and joyful expectation engulfed me, as my spirit drew closer and closer, to that very distant
light. The closer my spirit came to it, the more my anticipation grew. Finally, after it reached the
brilliant light, my spirit came to a complete stop.
Immediately, my spirit expanded and seemed to melt into, what I can best describe as, an ocean of
Divine Love. This love was so great and encompassing, and I know very well, that there are no human
words that can adequately describe it. This is the Love of God, that is so great, so sublime, and so
perfect that it passes all human understanding. In other words, it is so enormous and sacred, that it
cannot possibly ever enter into the mind of man; the human mind can never comprehend this
powerful, and awesome spiritual love of God.
As I found myself melting into this ocean of sublime love, which God feels for all of His creation, I
became one with it. What was without me, was also becoming part of me. It was all around me, and
came from within and from without me.
This awesome love of God, pulsated with its own life, as it expanded outwards through the entire
universe. This divine love, united and established the brotherhood of mankind, and of all creation,
itself. Besides the peace and love, I also felt a great sensation of rest. This was God’s rest. It was much
different than any other physical or mental rest I had ever experienced on earth. This was the, total and
complete, rest of God.
All of us, are in a constant, earthly struggle, which we are not aware of. Whether we realize it, or
not, we are always working, in one way or another. We have to be many different things, to different
people. Living in these stressful times, we are always mentally dealing with issues and concerns, of
importance to us, many times not aware that we are actually doing this! Even when we sleep, we fail
to enter into a complete rest.
I finally felt free to let myself 'let go' of that struggle, and to fall into the care and protection of a
loving God. In this rest we enter into a state of just 'being' and 'knowing.' It is a total, and complete
release, of anything that could burden our spirit in any way. This was the pure and 'natural' state of the
spirit.
"...unto whom I swore in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest." (Psalm 95: 11)
We are not able to understand, correctly, who we really are in the intimate core of our being. In
God’s divine realm, our true selves, will stand naked before the all-perceiving eye of God. There is
absolutely nothing that can be hidden from His eye. All our agendas and intents will be revealed,
whether these be good or evil. We shall fully understand and be fully understood.
Through all of the experience, I do not remember having heard any audible words. This tremendous
amount of information was not coming by spoken words, but was being transmitted directly into my
spirit. Simultaneously, I also began to observe certain things and events occurring on what seemed to
be a huge screen before me...
The very first thing I saw was a man with his back to me. He was dressed in a white robe and turban
with a thick gold band that went around his waist. The man had his arms lifted up in adoration and
reverence. I also noticed, that there were tiny bells that dangled from the hem of his robe.
"A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister
in: as the Lord commanded Moses." (Exodus 39: 26)
This man, was standing in front of some type of altar, and he was sacrificing a small animal on it.
The altar had been built from stones which had not been hewn, and in which no instrument or tool, had
been used in its construction. From the sacrifice on this altar, there was a cloud of smoke that rose up
in the sky. There was an intense holiness and reverence that permeated the scene, as it unfolded before
my eyes. This was a high, holy priest of ancient Israel, sacrificing a sin offering for his people, upon a
consecrated altar.
This is how God commanded the high priests to build the altars of ancient Israel. These priests
could not use any type of instrument when they constructed their sacrificial altars. If they did, the altar
would be considered desecrated.
"If you make an altar of stone for Me, you shall not build it of cut stones, for if you wield your tool on
it, you will profane it."
(Exodus 20:25)
Immediately after this, I found myself in a place where I could see the entire planet earth beneath
me. There was a small spot somewhere on the planet which began to rise up in the sky. Slowly, as it
rose, the small spot became a huge cross in the firmament. Suddenly it stopped, as an enormous cloud
of smoke emanated from this cross went around the entire circumference of the earth. This awesome
scene is one that I shall never be able to erase from my memory. The profound impact of what I was
observing, and what it represented is beyond mere human words. Filling the expanse of the vast
firmament before me... hung the complete embodiment of 'SALVATION' offered up for all human
beings, upon the face of the entire earth.
This cloud of smoke covered the sin of every human being, born before, or after this day. The eye
of the Father could not pierce the thick, cloud of mercy, to see the sins that were covered by it. This is
what happened when the Messiah died on the cross. God was taking back all of mankind from the grip
of the enemy. This is why it is called 'salvation.' He saves anyone who wishes to be covered by this,
cloud of mercy, from eternal damnation. This is also why He is called, the second Adam. He came to
give back to God what the enemy had taken away at the Garden of Eden. Anyone, from any nation,
tribe or tongue, who places their faith and trust in the completeness of that sacrifice, will be saved.
Nothing that had ever happened before or after this day, could ever compare in importance, to this
moment in time. Even time, itself, is still measured by it. The sacrificial offering up of animals, was
required up to the point, of the Messiah’s ultimate sacrifice of Himself. The animal sacrifices were
given to ancient Israel, as a shadow of things to come, and pointed towards the ultimate sacrifice of
the Lamb of God. The sacrificial offerings are also a visual aid, which help us understand, that sin has
a price that requires payment.
Blood had to be shed for the forgiveness of sins. An innocent animal had to serve as a substitute
and its blood had to be shed, in place of the blood of guilty human beings. Only blood can make
atonement for the soul of man. This is how we can fully understand the gift of the redemptive grace
offered to us by way of the Messiah's sacrifice of substitution for our sins.
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement
for your souls. For it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul." (Lev.17:11)
CHAPTER TWO: THE MESSIAH
High in the firmament, there was a brilliant light that was rapidly approaching me. In the center of
the light was a figure of a human being. As this Being came nearer to me, His presence filled the
entire sky before me. The light also became as bright as the sun around Him, which also radiated
outwards from Him. His robe was luminescent, and as white as snow, which seemed to pulsate as if it
had a life of its own.
He then came very close to me, until I was able to capture the incredible majesty, and beauty of this
Wonderful Being. His eyes were like torches of fire, which seemed to burn through, to the depth of my
heart. I was aware that my soul stood naked before Him, and that there was absolutely nothing, which
could be hidden from Him. He knew the reasons behind the reasons, of every single one of my actions
in the past, and also of the life which I would live in the future. He was aware of every single thought,
behind all of my thoughts. He knew me much better, than I could ever know myself.
I was overwhelmed by the fact, that although He knew me so well and could observe all my faults,
sins and failures, He still loved me. There was intense comprehension, yet profound, tenderness, in
His eyes as He looked at me. He loved me with a love so strong, that it surpassed, by far, any human
emotion I had ever experienced on earth. Every pain, sorrow and sadness that I had ever felt in my
life, was gone forever.
Through all of this, I was still not aware of who this incredible Being was. As it felt that my spirit
was melting under the immense weight of His boundless love and compassion, I could do nothing
more, but fall at His feet. As soon as I fell to His feet, I knew Who this Being was. I could see that
there were two scars, one on each of His feet. All of the holiness and awesome sacredness of heaven,
were emanating from His precious feet.
The ultimate, and complete joy, which enraptured my being, while laying prostrate at His feet, is
impossible to describe. My soul was totally satiated, fulfilled and overflowing with love and gratitude.
It would have been the ultimate of all joys to stay right here, at His feet, throughout all of eternity!
How could anyone ever need, or require anything more than this?
Billows of thankfulness emanated from my being. The impact and full realization of the
consequences of my sins overtook me. It was my sins that had caused these scars on my Beloved’s
feet. This was the Prince of Peace, the Rock of Ages, the King of the Jews, the Messiah, and the Savior
of all of mankind. For this precious moment in time, He was not just the Savior of all of mankind, He
was 'my' Savior.
I knew and comprehended that if I had been the only human being in all of creation who had ever
lived, He would have suffered and given Himself up as a sacrifice just for me. He would've done it for
any other single human being on this earth! His love is that great, and that intimately, personal!
Although I was conscious of the seriousness of all my sins, before and after this encounter, I did not
feel any fear whatsoever. Standing as an open book before Him, His all encompassing eye saw, and
covered any sin or imperfection, He could behold in me. In His presence there is perfect peace, perfect
love and perfect forgiveness. All of the love that filled the entire universe, seemed to emanate from
Him towards me, and then back again from me towards Him.
The Messiah came to us as the Word of God in the flesh. The Father would never have sent the
Messiah to us, without first giving us clear substantiation of who He was, and what He would do for
us. This is why the entire Old Testament gives evidence of who He is, and points to Him as the
promised Messiah.
He is Noah’s ark as He shelters us, and saves us from destruction. He is the Passover Lamb, as His
innocent and spotless blood was shed for our sins. He is our divine 'scapegoat.' He is Joshua, that led
His people into the promised land. He is Isaac, who was to be sacrificed on the altar on Mount Moriah,
as a test of Abraham’s love for God. This act was foreshadowing the day when God, Himself, would
sacrifice His precious, and beloved Son in order to reveal His immense love for us.
He is Joseph, who saved the entire, then known, world from famine, after his own brothers left Him
for dead in Egypt. The story of Joseph and his brothers is a perfect prototype of the Messiah, and His
relationship with His, own Jewish, brethren today. In the end, Joseph reveals himself to his brothers,
and He cries on their necks because of his great love for them. Joseph goes on to forgive them, and he
assures them, that even though they meant it for evil...God used it for good, to save the entire world,
including them, from death. He is also Rahab’s scarlet cord representing His shed blood for our sins.
Though she was a prostitute, the red cord saved her, and her entire household, when all of Jericho was
destroyed. It represents the completeness of the Messiah’s atonement, and how His blood cleanses us
from all sins...no matter how serious in nature these sins might be.
Each and every Jewish Holiday, as established by God, represents a different attribute of the
Messiah. Jewish people were commanded to honor and to keep these Holidays, as clear substantiation
of Who the Messiah was, and what He would acquire for us. He is the 'Lamb of God,' who takes away
the sin of the world in the Feast of Passover. He is our first fruits, in the Feast of Shavuot. He is the
Head of the Church, in the Feast of Rosh Ha Shana. He is our atonement, in the Feast of Yom Kippur,
or Day of Atonement. He is God, who came down to earth to tabernacle with us, in the Feast of
Tabernacles. He was born of a virgin, as the prophet Isaiah had prophesied, so many years before.
Although, I was shown that there was no other way that a person could attain eternal life, without
the redemptive grace of the sinless Lamb of God, I also understood that with God all things were
possible! He died for all human beings which were born on this earth, and not just for Christians. He
died for all human beings whether they live in India, Iraq or Kenya. God loves every soul, that was
born on this earth. He has very mysterious ways, that are above our understanding. With Him 'ALL'
things are possible!
The Father has ways of bringing a person to faith in the Messiah through natural and supernatural
means. Whether Christian or not, we all need a mediator to be saved. Each of us, would have to be
spotless, on his own merit, to be able to stand before a Holy God. It is just humanly impossible, for
any human being, to do so by their mere efforts alone. Therefore, since the situation is thus, we
require that there be a mediator, between us (all of us), and a Holy God. Jesus is the (freely given)
love, compassion, and mercy of God, which dwelt with us, for a temporary appointed time. He is the
one who now continuously intercedes for us, before the throne of His Father.
Love, itself, is not of the same nature on earth, as it is in the spiritual realm. Love here can mean
many things to different people. Many times human love has a selfish motive behind it, although, we
may not be aware of this ourselves. Love in the spirit realm, is totally pure, and of a very self-less
nature. Love in the spirit realm is also fully compassionate. It is difficult to find complete, and pure
compassion here on earth. The Word says that the heart of man (all men and women), is evil above all
things. Therefore, we would have to go against our nature in order to be truly compassionate. To put
others above ourselves, and to feel for them with a heart of pure love, is against our natural instincts.
Only God working 'through' us can produce this love self-less love 'in' us.
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it? I the Lord,
search the heart, and I test the mind." (Jeremiah 17:9-10)
Love, and so many other details of our lives here on earth, are seen from a very different view point
in the realm of the infinite. Many insignificant, and often times menial aspects of our lives here on
earth, are seen as extremely important, from the perspective of the realm of God. The opposite is also
true. Events, objects, and details that seem to be of so much value to us in this realm, are of absolutely
no consequence, in the next realm.
Wealth, positions of honor, countless academic degrees, or material possessions will mean nothing,
to us when we find ourselves in the infinite realm. They will be of absolutely 'no' help whatsoever! I
cannot stress this enough because I, myself, found this detail of the difference between the finite, and
infinite realms of existence, so difficult to believe. I was experiencing it, yet it was a fact that amazed
me, and still does to this day. Only after a soul experiences this reverse reality on their own, will they
be able to understand this mystery.
No amount of clean living, no amount of righteousness, or good works can make atonement for our
sins and failures. If we think that we can make ourselves clean and provide for our own salvation, then
we are placing too much emphasis on our own actions and the Messiah died in vain. This emphasis on
our own works leads us into, the harmful pretenses, of self-righteousness and pride. God wants us to
trust in Him, and the sacrifice He provided for us, period.
His mercy, grace, and compassion granted us this priceless gift, although we were not worthy of it,
in any way whatsoever. We cannot obtain it, or earn it, because it is a free gift from God, to us. This
becomes fully evident in the fact, that while we were yet sinners, He sent His Son to die for us.
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
(Romans 5:8)
Knowing this truth we should, therefore, all of us (myself included), try to live lives full of
thankfulness, and appreciation, for His great gift of love to us.
May we be always faithful to His Word, and may He help us, and enable us to live lives pleasing
unto Him!
CHAPTER THREE: THE TRIUNE GOD
In the firmament high above me, I observed a scene so extremely sacred, that it is impossible to
adequately describe with mere human words. There, suspended in the sky, was a structure that
contained the embodiment of all TRUTH. This structure had an arc shape, and within the arc there
were three separate compartments. The Father in the center, the Son on the right and the Holy Spirit
on the left of the Father. Each were equal in shape, and the three filled the one arced structure. I knew
that I was observing, the three facets or manifestations, of the ONE, and ONLY God.
I understood, that outside of these three manifestations of God, there is absolutely nothing which
can be considered as being divine. Only these three manifestations of God, are DIVINE. Everything
outside of this Arc of Divinity, was created. There can be angels, saints, prophets, or apostles which
can be holy, but they cannot be divine, ONLY GOD IS DIVINE! Throughout history, the concept of
the Trinity has been so extremely difficult to comprehend and describe.
Saint Patrick, of Ireland, used the three leaved clover as an example, to help us understand the
sacred mystery of the Trinity. The clover is one leaf which has one stem, out of which three small
equal leaves emerge, to compose the entity of that one clover leaf. The three are one, and the one is
three. It is so very simple, yet, so utterly complicated, to try and explain or understand this mystery.
We need the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, to comprehend this incredible concept of the unity of God's
manifestations.
Immediately after this, I saw a huge hand, which came out of the sky. This hand was pointing
towards an opened Bible on a table. I understood, that if I ever had any questions about the spiritual
realm, this was where I was supposed to go. I should not turn to the right or to the left, but only to this
Book. This Book contained all of the answers, to any questions, which I would ever have, during the
course of my entire life. God 'IS' His Word!
There really is a Lamb's Book of Life! It is a sublimely ornate, and incredibly beautiful book. Its
huge, illuminated pages are decorated in solid gold filigree. Enormous, beautiful and majestic beings,
in flowing robes of spun light, glide up and down, constantly searching to see who's name is written in
this Book. If our names are written in it, we shall go to heaven. If our names are not found there, then
we cannot enter God's kingdom. What a precious joy, it will be, for every soul when he realizes, that
his name was found in the Lamb's Book of Life!
"Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because
your names are written in heaven."(Luke 10:20)
"He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name
out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."(Rev 3:5)
Families will continue in heaven, but only on a much higher dimension. The eternal realm of God
will be permeated by an awesome sacredness, overwhelming joy, and boundless love, which is simply
impossible to describe. There are also many beautiful buildings and mansions to live in, to study in,
and to play in. All of this surrounded by an atmosphere of unspeakable joy, beauty, love, and peace!
"In my Father's house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you."(John 14:2)
When Jesus spoke of the kingdom of heaven, he compared Himself to a bridegroom who was
engaged to be married. Jesus’ Second Coming will be like the long-awaited arrival of a bridegroom.
This is in accord with the ancient Jewish custom of the groom leaving, and going to his father's house,
to prepare a place for his, soon to be, bride.
When the groom comes for the bride, then the wedding ceremony is held. This is what will happen
in the spiritual realm, when the Lord comes for His bride. Just as an engaged virgin is to remain pure
until she marries, likewise the bride of Christ, is to keep herself untainted from the world, while she
waits for her Lord's return for her.
Mary(Miriam) was also engaged to Joseph, and waiting to be married when the angel appeared to
her, and told her that she was chosen to be the mother of the Son of God. God did not choose, to come
into the world, through the wisdom, and doctrine of man, for a purpose. God chose to enter this realm,
through the womb, of a young, Jewish girl from Nazareth. She was not even from Jerusalem, but from
a small town in the north of Israel.
"For God hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen
the weak things of the world to confound that which are mighty, and base things of the world, and
things which are despised hath God chosen, yes, and things which are not to bring to nothing the
things that are: that no flesh should glory in His presence."(1Cor 1:27)
The angel gave Mary(Miriam) a choice, when he appeared to her, and told her that the Messiah
would come from her womb. She made the right decision, but the choice was still hers. If she had
desired not to be used of God, for such a noble purpose, He would have chosen someone else. Only
after we become heirs to, and experience the joy, of our own salvation will we fully understand the
debt that we owe to Mary. We will realize the true value of Mary's simple response of..."Let it be done
to me according to your word." Her attitude of grace and humility is mirrored as she utters the prayer
of the Magnificat:
"My soul magnifies the Lord
And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid;
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name..."(Luke 1:46-48)
Mary should never be worshipped, only the Divine should be worshipped. Mary should be honored
because she is our spiritual mother. She always points and directs us to her Son. At the wedding at
Cana, she told the servants to "Do everything He tells you to do." If anything is retained from desiring
and seeking a closer walk with God, it is these words of the Messiah’s mother. How utterly important
it is...to do everything He tells us to do! Not one of His words are without deep and lasting spiritual
consequence. We do our souls a great benefit to obey each and every one of His words! When the Lord
gave Mary to John as his mother and gave John to her as her son, she became our mother also, and we
her children.
We are her children because without the gift of the fruit of her womb, we would all be on our way
to eternal damnation. ALL of us, not just some of us, would be lost forever, since the only way, in
which we can be saved, is through the sacrifice of her Son. The Creator has provided, no other way for
salvation, but by the way of the sacrifice of her Son. This is a message of grace and beauty which
bestows a great honor on womanhood, since all human life begins in the womb.
Everything that was revealed to me in the realm of the spirit has a scriptural foundation. I saw
nothing that was not contained in the Word of God. All these great mysteries, no matter how awesome
they might be, have a very simple and practical purpose. That purpose is that we should...love one
another. At the heart of everything that was relayed to me while in the spirit was the message of…"DO
UNTO OTHERS, AS YOU WOULD WANT OTHERS, TO DO UNTO YOU." This simple message is
the secret of living a life pleasing to the eye of God. It is not what, or how much we do, but the
attitude in our hearts when we do it. Whatever we do in word, thought or deed, should be examined
closely, for the reasons behind our actions. We should remember, that even our thoughts have eternal
repercussions.
I was shown in my life's review how nothing escapes the eye of the eternal. My life passed before
me in what seemed like a flash in time. I saw everything right and everything wrong in the way I
would live my life from that moment on. Most of this part of the experience was taken away from my
conscious mind. Otherwise, it would not have been able, to live a normal life, in any sense of the
word. It would have been impossible to learn from my mistakes and errors, as all human beings do.
Having had a spiritual experience does not, in any way, whatsoever, exempt me from falling into any
type of error, sin or fault in my own life. On the contrary, I will be judged with much more strictness,
since..."to whom much is given, much is required."
If God loves us, although we do not deserve His love, then we should also love others who might
not be deserving of our love. When our enemy asks us for food we should feed him. We should lend to
those that cannot repay us. God makes the rain to fall on the righteous and on sinners, equally. Besides
love and ecstasy, there is one attribute that permeates all of heaven, this is the attribute of humility.
All of creation must humble itself before the Awesome Presence of the God of Creation. We must
strive to live constantly in a state of humility. The realization that so great a gift, as the salvation of
our eternal souls, was bestowed upon us, through no merit of our own, should fill us with an
overwhelming sense of HUMILITY.
"Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you." (James 4:10)
"It is better to be humble in spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud." (Proverbs
16:19)
The Word of God tells us that we should not place our affections on the things of this world, but
that our affections should be placed on the things of heaven. Heaven is where our souls will spend all
of eternity, so this is the reason we should certainly place our thoughts and affections on what awaits
us in the eternal realm.
"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right
hand of God."(Col 3:1)
This world is on a direct collision course with the things of God. Again, we are reminded in the
Word, that if we make ourselves a friend of this world, then we automatically make ourselves, an
enemy of God.
"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is
not in them."(1 John 2:15)
We may not be aware of this contrasting spiritual truth, but it is the reality of the unseen. When all
of our energies, and efforts are spent acquiring material possessions we might be surprised, if we
encounter a bankrupt account in God's eternal realm. This bankruptcy could cause us to lose our soul.
This loss would be the greatest of all travesties.
It is just like our Savior said, "What profit is it to you, if you gain the entire world, but lose your
own soul?" Nothing, absolutely nothing, in this world can compare to the infinitely valuable treasure
of one human soul! This is not the message that the world gives us, but this is the atmosphere that
permeates the realm of the eternal.
"Don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore anyone who
chooses to be a friend of the world, becomes an enemy of God." (James 4:4)
"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be
devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
(Luke 16:13)
Just one human soul is of inestimable value in heaven. Our uniqueness was created to worship and
praise God for all of eternity. The problem is that, He does not want us to join Him in heaven by force,
but only by choice, through the use of our own free will. The most worthless of all sinners, is valuable
in heaven! The Messiah was reprimanded by the religious Pharisees and Sadducees of His day, for
keeping company with sinners and tax collectors. We must learn to love the sinner, although, we must
hate the sin. We must not be judgmental, since nobody is free from faults in this world. We must
think, instead, "if God loves these worthless sinners...He must surely love me also?"
Only God is able to scrutinize, and search the heart, of every man or woman, to see what lies
therein. God looks at our hearts, in a way, in which we cannot. He sees our circumstance and the
intentions, in the very depth of our hearts. So, if then, we cannot even judge ourselves, how are we to
judge others? Only God can judge, with justice, and mercy because only He sees the heart of man.
"Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the
Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the
heart."(1 Samuel 16:7)
Prayer is an unseen concern of the heart. It is private communion with God, Himself! Therefore, it
is a serious matter, and should not be taken lightly. There is tremendous power in fervent prayer! Paul
tells us to, "pray without ceasing." The Lord tells us to, go into our secret closet and pray...where the
Father listens, in private.
We should strive to 'become' a fervent prayer! An attitude of prayer should permeate everything we
think, say, and do. We should focus on His indwelling presence, in the midst of the distractions, or
activities in our day to day lives. We should also allow His presence become a 'reality' in our lives.
Peter walked on the water while he was focused on the Messiah, but began to sink when he removed
his eyes from Him, and began to look at the raging waters of the storm.
While in the spirit, I was shown the awesome, consequence of fervent prayer. The sacredness of the
scene is very difficult to describe and was almost heartbreaking in its utter beauty and holiness. My
spiritual eyes observed as the Hosts of heaven gently carried the precious pearls of our prayers in their
arms, and placed them at the foot of the throne of God.
These enormous, angelic beings full of grace and beauty, continuously gather our fervent prayers,
and lovingly place them at the foot of the throne, as if they were priceless gems. A powerful prayer
can be very short such as the prayer of the repentant publican: "God, be merciful to me, a sinner!" Or
it can also be simple as the prayer of the blind man: "Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on
me!"The prayer of the thief crucified next to the Lord, was a very simple, and short prayer..."Jesus,
remember me when you come into your kingdom." Yet, this prayer was answered, by the Lord,
Himself, that very night!
"The effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)
The Word of God is an absolute. Everything will pass away, but not even one iud of the Word will
pass away. The Messiah did not come to do away with the Word, but to honor it and to fulfill it. He
was, Himself, the Word, in the Flesh. These commandments found in God's Word are not difficult to
keep, since the truth underlying each, and every one of God's laws and commandments is the
profound, and precious 'law of love' because...God IS love!
CHAPTER FOUR: THE VALUE OF LOVE
The true value of love is impossible to measure by the world's standards. It is impossible to see all
the repercussions that may come about, from one single act of love. These repercussions have eternal
consequences that are unknown to us.
The first two commandments, love of God and love of neighbor, are the greatest commandments of
all. If we can only keep these two, then all the rest of the commandments will fall in line perfectly.
The more we love our Creator, the more we will die to self. The more we die to self, the easier it will
be to love those people whose lives we touch. So, if we keep the first commandment to love God, then
the second of loving our neighbor will easily be kept. If we love our neighbor, we will not wish to
steal from him, lie to him or bear false witness against him.
The entire law hangs on our loving God, first and foremost. Jesus said that not everybody who calls
Him Lord will enter God's kingdom, but only those who keep His commandments. These
commandments of love depend on us loving God, above all things. In order to love God, we must first
feel His love for us. We must understand that He loves us just the way we are. Unless we fully
understand that He is a God of mercy, forgiveness, and compassion, it will be very difficult to truly
love Him in return. Unless we can actually 'feel' His love, mercy and compassion towards us as
sinners, we will never be able to turn to Him in loving appreciation for His great kindness towards us.
How can we love a God who is harsh, demanding and judgmental? It will be very difficult to love a
God that expects us to be perfect, before He can love us. We must understand that He loves us
'EXACTLY' as we are. Then and only then, will we be able to reciprocate His love for us. Once we
find ourselves able to reciprocate His love, then all the other commandments will fall into line,
perfectly. This is why we should judge others in love, just as He does. There are many factors that
determine the reasons why a person does what they do, and only God, is able to judge those reasons.
Then, we will be able to live lives pleasing to God. Being capable of loving God, is contingent upon us
being able, to know that God loves us...exactly as we are.
Thinking we need to ‘become’ something, before He can love us, will not cause us to love God, but
to resent Him. No one has to earn this love or feel that they need to 'make' themselves clean enough to
be worthy of so great a gift. When someone gives us a gift it is final and paid for, and all we have to
do is accept it. We would insult the giver of the gift, if we thought we had to pay them back for it,
wouldn’t we?
The entire creation is a tender demonstration of God's amazing and boundless love for us. He loves
each and every one of us, because we are 'HIS' creation, and because each of us, is unique in a very
special way. Our special 'one and only' unique personality was created to live with Him forever in His
realm. He does not desire that any one of us should be lost!
All of natural creation mirrors the essence of God. The sheer beauty and perfection of nature, itself,
gives testimony to His awesome, and precious love for each of us! Nature also speaks to us about the
love of God. The beauty, perfection and harmony of nature reflect these same attributes of the Creator.
The Word states that the Spirit of God fills all of creation. We live in this world dependent on nature,
even for the air that we breathe.
Cruelty to animals is frowned upon in the Word of God. While we live on this earth, we should not
abuse our natural resources or our environment. When we abuse and mistreat our environment, or our
natural resources, we are hurting ourselves and our children. All of nature is inter-connected. We are a
small part of this great brotherhood of creation. There is still so much that we do not know about the
world we live in. There are universes upon universes that we will never know about till we get to the
eternal realm of the Father. God's creation has no end.
The ancient Israelites were also commanded to be kind to slaves and to immigrants, especially.
Why was it necessary to be kind to slaves and immigrants? They had to have special empathy for
them, because the children of Israel had also been strangers (immigrants) and slaves in the land of
Egypt.
"The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you,
and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your
God." (Lev. 19:34)
"You shall be holy for I, your God, am holy. You shall not insult the deaf, nor put a stumbling
block before the blind. You shall not render an unjust decision, do not be partial to the poor nor show
deference to the rich. Judge your neighbor fairly. Do not stand idly by the blood of your neighbor.
You shall not hate your brother in your heart. Love your neighbor as yourself, I am God."( Leviticus
19:2, 14-18)
No matter how vast and wonderful all of creation is, the act of simple selfless love is the key that
opens all doors in heaven! It is impossible to measure the value or the impact which simple selfless
love can have on the destiny of one human being. There was one very special person, in my life, whom
I will use as an example of this type of love. I will share my personal account of how humble, selfless
love in action, had a profound impression on me, as a child and throughout my entire life.
Life was not easy for my mother raising a child alone as a new immigrant and without knowing the
language. Yet, both of our lives were affected dramatically by the presence of one single human being.
Nana was my mother's third cousin. If it had not been for her constant love and support during my
childhood, our lives would have been very, very different. Nana was of African and Indian descent. To
me, she was love personified, and my 'superstar!' She had a special love for me because she knew that
I was fatherless, and that my mother had to work so hard to make ends meet. Nana took it upon herself
to put extra doses of care, and affection into everything she said and did for me. Even as a child, I
knew that her heart was pleasing to God because it was selfless and compassionate. I could 'FEEL' her
love. She saw the situation, and did the best, and only thing she knew how to do...love. She gave of
herself, and this she did with her whole heart. Nana was a woman of fervent prayer who attended Mass
daily. Everywhere she went, she took her prayer book with her. Her love, kindness, and her great
dedication to God, permeated every detail of her life.
Nana also had great humility. Humility and simplicity are the true stamps of greatness. She had
both, in great abundance. Nana was an immigrant, herself, also living in the inner city. We were the
forgotten refuse of society, yet, her love made me feel very, very 'special' and 'important'. I was very
privileged to have had her in my life through all of my childhood and adolescence. The love of this
simple and humble woman changed the outcome of what would have been my life.
Surrounded by the dangers of the inner city life, I also had to deal with the loose morals of my
generation. Without a father or the 'real' presence of a mother, I had to battle against these influences
almost entirely on my own. Without having had Nana's powerful and ever present influence, with me
at all times, who knows what would've been the outcome of my life?
By having a profound impact me, she also would affect the lives of all the people I would touch in
the future. She would have an effect on how I raised my own children, and every contact I would later
have with friends or acquaintances. In this world, it would be impossible to measure the exact value of
her simple gift of love, but only in God's realm, will its true value be revealed. Only there, will she
receive her well merited crowns. All those who lived loving and selfless lives on this earth, will
receive their reward in His kingdom, to enjoy throughout all of eternity.
God is attentive to the way we treat others. Mutual love and respect is foundational to all ethical,
healthy relationships. When we use someone for our own selfish purposes, especially those who are
vulnerable, or when we fail to care for the poor and ignore the cries of the orphans and widows, we
diminish ourselves. Each person is valuable, since each person is made in the image and likeness of
the Creator of the Universe, and therefore has a spark of the Divine within him.
As important as our relationships with one another are, our most important relationship is with
God. When we are right with Him, we will also make every effort to be right with each other. A closer
look at scripture describing the sinful woman at the Pharisee's house demonstrates clearly how very
important the condition of the heart is to God.
"Jesus was dining in the home of the Pharisee and a sinful woman came to wash his feet and dry
them with her hair. The Pharisee immediately thought 'if this man were truly a prophet he would know
that the woman who is touching him is a sinner.' Jesus read the Pharisee's thoughts and said to him
'though her sins are many they ALL shall be forgiven because she has loved much..." (Luke 7:36-50)
This is an incredible example of how very important the condition of the heart is to our Creator.
The sinful woman had MANY sins, yet ALL her sins were forgiven. Her sins were forgiven because
she had a heart full of love and contrition. The Word states that God will NEVER turn away a contrite
heart. We also see that the Pharisee had very few sins, but, nevertheless, the attitude of his heart was
not pleasing to God.
The love we give in this world will follow us to the next realm. There will be great joy when entire
families are reunited in heaven. They will enjoy the same love they had shared here, but only on a
totally different dimension. Love in heaven will be so much more intense and rewarding. Families
who had been loving and loyal to one another here on earth, will experience great joy in heaven!
Tremendous joy for all eternity awaits couples that had been faithful to each other throughout their
lives here on earth.
The simple yet faithful adherence to God's laws of love, will reap indescribable rewards in heaven.
Average, everyday, folks who had lived out their lives with godliness and humble faith in their hearts,
will be the 'real' heroes in heaven. I was amazed to see just how valuable a good and gentle spirit was,
in the eyes of God. As I mentioned before, what is considered to be of absolutely no value here on
earth, will be of inestimable value in heaven. God will even take our intentions into consideration, in a
very serious way.
Most of what human beings call love, is not really love. In order for it to be 'really' love, it must be
self-less, and unconditional. Any act of love that has any type of self-serving, or self-fulfilling reasons
behind it, is not considered love in the eternal realm. Only acts of self-less love, are recognized as true
love, in His kingdom. It's just like Jesus said, in that if you do things to be seen of men, you will have
no reward in heaven whatsoever. This is like the Pharisees who made long prayers at widow's houses
for personal benefit. Wearing long phylacteries or having the best seat in the synagogue can appear
holy to man, but not to God. Appearing holy to men does not make us holy before God!
God is looking for clean hands and pure hearts. He is looking for uprightness in the inward places.
He is also looking for compassion and empathy, along with acts befitting of these
emotions. Sometimes we may think we are acting out of love, but we are not aware that there may be a
selfish reason behind our actions. If there is, then it will only stay here, and will not be recorded in
heaven. There will be no reward in heaven for any actions not done out of pure love. God sees and
examines the heart in a way impossible for us to understand. He sees the reasons behind the reasons,
of everything we think, say and do. He knows that the heart of man is deceitful. He knows our
weaknesses, and our frailties. This is why He loves us so very much. This is the reason He forgives us
so readily, once we ask for His forgiveness.
God is not looking for ways to condemn us, He is looking for ways to forgive and save us! Satan is
the great accuser. God is waiting patiently just like the father of the repented prodigal son, as he waits
anxiously for his son to turn around and come back to him. He will prepare a feast for his son, and
never once reprimand him of the evil that he did. His heart will be overflowing with so much joy and
love at seeing his son again that he will forget what his son did. This joy and love will completely
erase and blot out any memory of a wrong done to him by his son. There is not one person who has
been born on this earth, who does not have this atoning grace available to them.
This ultimate sacrifice was provided for all of mankind, not just a chosen few. God loves all of
mankind, as the Messiah was sent to save ALL of mankind. That is, of course, if they choose to put
their trust in Him. This is all they have to do. He wants us to choose salvation through our own free
will. Though God does not desire even one soul to be lost, He will not force salvation on us. We must
choose it by implementing our own free will. By placing our trust in Jesus, God sees us just as sin-free
as Jesus was. It is the spiritual principle of substitution. He does not see the sinful person, but through
the atoning grace of the Messiah, God sees us just as sin-free as Jesus. This does not mean that we do
not have sins, faults and failures, only that they are not observed by the Father. The Precious Blood of
the Lamb, creates the cloud, which completely blocks, the Father’s eye from observing our sins and
faults. It is a free gift for anyone who believes.
No one person, could possibly earn the value of so great a gift through any effort of their own.
There will be a pause in heaven to see if any one human being in all of history will be able to save
himself, without the atoning grace of the Messiah. It was amazing, for me, to see that not ONE person,
in ALL of history, will be able to save himself, on his own effort…not even ONE!
The undeniable fact is that we will all someday find ourselves in either one, of two eternal,
extremes. One is a place of intense joy and beauty, the other of intense pain and darkness. Each, and
every, second lived on this earth is of inestimable value, because the composite of those moments,
will determine where our souls will spend all of eternity. Basically, these two realms are beyond our
capacity of conscious perception. These eternal realms cannot be conceived of by the human mind.
Either one, of these existing spiritual worlds, are light years away from what our human sphere of
consciousness can conjure up, or perceive of.
How we live our lives, and the choices we make, in our day to day life, will determine which of
these two will be, our 'forever' home. This undeniable fact and truth was at the very heart of the entire
experience of my visit to the unseen realm of the spirit.
Love of God, love of others, and the dignity of each and every human being, was at the heart of the
entire message. Each one of us is of inestimable value to God. He relishes our uniqueness. There is
only 'one' of each of us. We are all, really, just one huge family. We are here to learn from each other,
and to share in the gift and bounty of the whole earth. It is a gift to be nurtured and respected, but
never abused of.
Pure love is when we share with others, without ever seeking anything in return. True acts of
charity are when our left hand, really does not know what our right hand is doing. Self-less love is the
love that has eternal repercussions. It is such a shame that human beings place so much importance on
the finite things of this world, and neglect the life of the spirit, which is of immeasurable value. True
treasures are spiritual and eternal.
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor
rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there
will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:19-21)
CHAPTER FIVE: THE CHOSEN PEOPLE
On what seemed like a very large screen before me, I could see the face of an old man. This was not
just any ordinary old man, but this man had been very special to God. I knew that the person on the
screen before me was Abraham, the patriarch. All of a sudden, my spirit, could actually feel the
affectionate relationship that existed between Abraham and God.
Abraham, was man just like us, yet he was chosen to be God's very best friend. It is almost
impossible to comprehend how God, could have a mere human being, as a best friend? Although, the
scriptures testify to this very fact. Just as we have best friends, that we esteem higher than all our
other friends, so Abraham, had been God’s very best friend. How truly heartwarming it was to feel the
genuine and affectionate friendship that had existed between both of them! Apart from Abraham, the
patriarch, no other person in all of history was ever given the honor of being selected to be God’s best
friend.
“But you, Israel are my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham, my
friend.” (Isaiah 41:8)
Since Abraham was so very special to God, likewise all of Abraham’s descendents would also be
very special to Him. He would look kindly on all of Abraham's descendents for the sake of the love He
had had for the patriarch. It was shown to me that the same love He felt for Abraham was passed
down to each and every one of his descendants, throughout the centuries. God's special love for
Abraham and his descendants would never fail. He valued each and every one of them just as much as
He valued and esteemed Abraham.
“ I will bless those that bless you and I will curse those that curse you.” (Gen 12:3) Again He states,
“For he that touches you touches the apple of my eye” (Zech 2:8)
The pupil or the apple of the eye is the most sensitive and delicate part of the entire body. The pupil
allows us to observe things around us, whether they be good or bad, ugly or beautiful. By stating that
Abraham’s descendants are the apple of His eye, God is making a very bold statement. He is saying
that He actually sees or touches the world through these descendants of Abraham. He did not choose
them because they are special in and of themselves. God chose them because ‘He’ is special, and He
chose to touch or see the world, by way of, or through them.
In an amazing majestic scene, I observed what seemed like a huge tapestry, which filled the sky
before me. The Father wove something, in and out, of this huge piece of fabric. This fabric were all
the Gentile nations, and what He was weaving, in and out of them, were the Jewish people. He was
doing this to bless the nations, and to shed His light wherever they went. Their light would go with
them, as they were scattered to the four corners of the earth. They were the main thread with which He
wove the tapestry of the nations. God was sending them out to bless the entire world. Though, perhaps,
they themselves, were unaware of this truth; God could only bless the world by way of these
descendants of Abraham.
I also observed ,what seemed like, an enormous blanket of darkness, which was covering the world.
Amidst this darkness, were little tiny lights, scattered here, and there. Each one of these lights was a
Jewish person. Each one of them, gave off a light, that shone in the darkness, so that all the nations
could see. They illuminated the darkness, not in and of themselves, but in as far, as they shed their
light. They had the light of God’s Word, His commandments, His oracles, and His appointed Feast
Days. Even after they were dispersed throughout the nations, they still carried this ‘light’ with them.
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp
and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In
the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your
Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16)
The Jewish people had been an incredible blessing in each, and every, nation they had been
dispersed to. If the Torah, itself, had been their only gift to the world, that would have been enough. It
is impossible to measure the enormous value and significance of this special Jewish gift to all the
nations of the earth. Great nations have risen and fallen, in accordance to how they have lived up to, or
failed to live up to, to those simple Ten Commandments, and to the principles found in God’s Word.
Besides the immense and priceless contribution of God’s own Word, the Jewish people themselves,
have been a blessing. They have excelled in the fields of science, medicine and the arts, etc. All, have
benefited, by the Jewish presence among them, in some way or other.
It is a fact of history, that whenever a given nation expelled or destroyed, the descendants of
Abraham living among them, that nation quickly lost its power or strength. Sixteen century Spain,
after the Inquisition, and Nazi Germany, after the Holocaust are just two examples.
Since the Jewish people, were so beloved, and used by God to bless the nations, the enemies of God
would also become their enemies. Through the centuries the enemies of God, or evil forces , have
selected charismatic leaders to spread their venom. Huge waves of anti Semitism spread through the
nations at various times in history to bring about their, almost total, annihilation. The fact of their
presence in this world, after so many attempts made to destroy them, is the surest proof of the
existence of their God.
While I was in the spirit, I saw the Father, (not with my natural eyes, but with my spiritual eyes)
and He was sitting on a throne. All around this throne were huge billows of clouds. Incredible glory,
and majesty filled the firmament. Mere human words could never describe the absolute splendor,
holiness, and sacredness that emanated from His being. Multitudes, upon multitudes of glorious
angels continuously worship before Him in praise and adoration. Their majestic song filled the entire
firmament as they offered indescribably beautiful and unending songs of praise before His throne.
As I observed this Holy scene, in utter wonder and amazement, I could see that while the Father
was sitting on His throne, He had His back to the Jews, and His face was towards the Gentiles. I
understood this to represent the two thousand years of Jewish dispersion and suffering. His back to
them caused the suffering, shame, and dishonor that the Jewish people would have to endure when
they were scattered to all the Gentile nations. He had indeed hidden His face from His people as it is
written:
“and your sins have hidden His face from you…” (Isaiah 59:2)
As He had His back towards the Jews, His face was towards the Gentiles. This represented ‘the time
of the Gentiles’ and a time of great blessings for them. Wherever the light of the gospel was spread,
God’s blessings were then put into effect. Then, all of a sudden, something amazing began to happen.
The Father began to slowly turn and rotate on His throne. As He turned, His blessings and grace
turned with Him. He was, ever so, slowly, beginning to turn His face again towards the Jews. I
understood that when His face would be completely turned around again towards the Jews, His back
would then be turned towards the Gentiles. This would usher in a time of great testing, and trials that
the Gentile nations would have to endure. Now, He was again turning towards Israel, with great
compassion, mercy, and infinite love. They had suffered immensely throughout the ages. Many times
they had to endure all types of inconceivable sufferings, at the mercy of the citizens of their host
nations. God, Himself, had allowed it, but sometimes these nations had gone too far.
I saw how the Father accompanied, each and every Jewish person, as they walked down the steps
into the gas chambers. His back was so closely united to that of the person going down the stairs, so as
to give the appearance of being one large back. This is a scene of such tender love that it will never be
erased from my mind!
“Comfort, yes, comfort, My people!”says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to
her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord’s hand
double for her sins.”(Isaiah40:1-2)
As I mentioned before, this experience was given to me during the time of the Six Day War. This
was also the time when Jerusalem returned back to Jewish control. Even though the State of Israel had
already been established, Jerusalem was not under Jewish control, until the summer of 1967. God was
overjoyed in the heavens, that Jerusalem was, again, in the hands of her proper owners, after two
thousand years of being ruled by the Gentile nations.
"And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and
Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." (Luke
21:24)
All of history had been leading up to this day. This was a time of great joy in the heavens. God
finally, would bring His people back to their own land. He would bring them back from the four
corners of the world, just as each, and every, prophet had foretold. He would bring them back, and He
would restore them, and bless them much better than He had blessed their fathers in ancient times.
“And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return and will rebuild those
places as at first. I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned and which they
have transgressed against Me. Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, praise, and an honor before all
nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them, they shall fear and tremble for all
the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.” (Jeremiah 33:7-9)
This unique relationship between God and the Jewish people must be given special attention, if we
wish to draw closer to God, Himself. We must understand that God chose the Jewish people to bless
the entire world. He chose to reveal His nature and character to the world through them. We must
know, that because of His great love for the entire world, He designated these particular people, to be
a light to the nations. He did not choose them because they were special, or any better than other
peoples, He chose them, in order to reveal His greatness through them, and to keep the covenant He
made with Abraham, the patriarch. The restoration of the land of Israel to its former glory, and the re-
gathering of the exiles from the four corners of the world, is perfect proof of the existence of God.
Tiny, Israel, will stand strong, against all the nations that come against her to destroy her, and she
shall be victorious, through the God that strengthens her. After all is said and done, and all nations
have had their time of glory, then God will again choose Israel, and make His name, and power known
throughout the world through her.
During the spring of 1992, on the anniversary of the expulsion of the Jews from Spain following the
Inquisition, Spain formally requested pardon from the nation of Israel. Spain was officially pardoned
by the State of Israel. This serves as an example to all nations, everywhere, that forgiveness can be
attained through God’s mercy.
“For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort her waste places; He will make her wilderness
like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving
and the voice of melody.” (Isaiah 51:3)
“For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own
land.” (Isaiah 14:1)
“Those who come, He shall cause to take root in Jacob; Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the
face of the world with fruit.” (Isaiah 27:6)
The prophet Ezekiel prophesied into the far future when he proclaimed what the Lord had in store
for the state of Israel.
“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down
in the midst of the valley which was full of bones…Again He said unto me, ‘Prophesy upon these
bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord God unto
these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon
you, and will bring flesh upon you, and you shall live; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. Therefore
prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves,
and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And shall put my
spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the
Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith Jehovah”(Ezek.37:14-6,12,14)
The people of Israel were scattered throughout the world for almost two thousand years. They have
witnessed all types of anti Semitism, and have suffered unimaginable forms of persecution throughout
the centuries. Although, these horrible things were allowed to happen to the Jewish people, God has by
no means forgotten them. Romans 11 testifies to this truth.
“For a small moment I have forsaken thee; but with great mercies I will gather thee. In a little
wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee.”
(Isaiah 54 7,8)
In other words, God allowed all these terrible things to fall upon these people, yet we must also
understand that He had something very beautiful planned for them in the distant future. God had
hidden His face for a while, yet He would again turn to them in love and compassion with all of His
heart, to forgive, to restore, to heal and to bless them.
Amazingly, these scriptures were also fulfilled for me in an awesome way! In an incredible and
visual demonstration, it was shown to me that I was Jewish! This was completely unknown to me at
that time. Then, as if it were an epic movie, all of Jewish history passed before my eyes in a flash.
When Jewish people lose their identity because of forced conversions, or persecutions, this does not
mean that they are lost to God, or that He forgets who they are. The world may forget, or they may
forget...but God never forgets! It is just as He said in that He, Himself, would bring them back!
The skeleton and the framework upon which the modern day nation of Israel was founded was the
Zionist movement, under the leadership of Theodore Herzl. It was the establishment of a concept, and
recognizing the need of establishing a homeland for the scattered people of Israel. The vision of
Theodore Herzl was the vehicle God used to begin to bring His people back to their native land. The
dry bones would come back to the land, yet there was nothing to hold them together, since they were
returning from many different countries. They had very little in common, except this one singular
Zionist dream, or ideal.
Another great and inspired man of God, Eliezer Ben Yehuda, would provide the force that would
hold them together, or to lay the sinews upon them. The force was the Hebrew language. Through
much suffering, and persecutions, this father of modern day Hebrew, accomplished what no other
person, had been able to accomplish before him. Hebrew was the uniting force that they needed to be
able to pray, to work and play in one accord. This was just the opposite of the dispersing effect of the
Tower of Babel. Without a pliable modern form of Hebrew, Israel could never exist as a state. Then in
November 2, 1917, the Balfour Declaration established the right for the Jewish people to have a home
in Palestine. England issued this declaration after Dr. Chaim Weizman, from the University of
Manchester developed a way of synthesizing acetone from horse chestnuts. This was essential for the
British in the manufacture of cartridges for rifles during World War 1.
The Balfour declaration was issued, and finally on May 14, 1948, the formal establishment of Israel
as a state, by David Ben-Gurion, provided the much needed flesh on the bones. The flesh is what
shapes, and gives form and substance to the body. While it is, also, the part that, is seen and touched.
This tiny, yet incredibly, significant nation was indeed born in one day, as Isaiah had prophesied.
"Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in
one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her
children." (Isaiah 66:8)
The travail was of course World War II, and the atrocities suffered by the Jewish people under Nazi
Germany. Israel stands alone, surrounded by millions of enemies. She is a perfect prototype of David,
standing before Goliath. She is waiting to receive the breath of God into her. She waits, yet she must
first understand, that the spirit of God will not come upon her until she learns to rely on Him, and Him
alone. Just as David had to cast off all the help from King Saul, in order to have the strength and
coordination needed to combat Goliath, so must Israel stand ,alone, with only the help of her God, to
be able to combat her many enemies. When she stands alone, then the God of Israel will breathe His
breath upon her, and she will indeed defeat all who come against her. The entire world will then
understand, that only through the power of her God, was she able to defeat all those who rose up
against her. Then the glory shall be only to her God, the one, and only true , God of Israel!
CHAPTER SIX: DENOMINATIONS
In a huge expanse that filled the sky before me, were countless church spires, as far as my eye
could see. Some of these church spires were huge and others were smaller. I understood that these
spires represented the innumerable existing Christian denominations. The Father, had His arm
extended over all of these church spires, as He was blessing each, and every one of them. He was
unable to observe any of the titles, or labels that they had placed upon themselves. He was also unable
to acknowledge any doctrine or law established by man, that was not in accordance with His
commandments and precepts.
The Father could only give honor to Himself, His Word, and His Son. Throughout history, God,
never once observed any title, or name that a particular denomination had chosen to call itself. Only
we, can observe our titles and differences. If He had, this would have made Him a respecter of
persons. His glory and honor, He could never give to a human being. His glory rested on the sacrifice
of His Son...period. He, Himself, took on the body of a human being, and came to earth in the form of
His Son. Anything outside of, or in addition to, this ultimate grace of salvation, would take away from
the power and efficacy of this priceless gift.
Each, and every one, of these denominations contained flaws, and errors in their doctrine, to some
degree. Not one of them, was perfect. The Father could observe the faith and trust that each
denomination placed in the sacrifice of His Son, for the remission of sins. If He were able to observe
the name of each separate denomination, this would involve having to give His honor to men. These
labels that men have chosen to place on their particular denomination has only served to bring
separation within the body of Christ. Believing that our denomination is better than other
denominations, involves spiritual pride, to some degree. This is, no different, than thinking that our
particular race, or our culture is better than that of others. Our denominations will not save us, only
the Blood of the Lamb will.
It is a historical truth, that the Catholic Church is the only church established by the Messiah,
Himself. Contrary to what some denominations may think, the Catholic Church is, an evangelical
church, which is firmly grounded on the Word of God. All the other countless worldwide Christian
denominations stand on the base of the Catholic Church.
How can we deny that the underlying message of the entire gospel, is that we should love one
another? We can agree to differ, but still love each other. The spirit of love seeks to unite, not to
divide. Sectarianism is sin, and divides, and weakens the body of Christ. All the wars, bloodshed, and
misery that have come about as the result of differing views among the many denominations, had been
in vain, and totally unnecessary!
When we add our many doctrines, separate beliefs, and views to the essential message of the
gospel, it loses its intrinsic message of sufficiency. When Our Lord spoke the words...'It is
finished'...He meant just that...it is total, and it is enough, in and of itself. This priceless sacrifice of
Himself for mankind, would be sufficient for the salvation of the entire world, throughout all of
history. Nothing had to be added, or taken away from it.
There is no end to the different dogmas, doctrines and beliefs that mankind has piled on top of this
very simple concept of salvation. Men have never stopped putting up walls of separation between
themselves, and their brothers, throughout history, in the spirit of denominationalism. How very sad,
that Christians, were brought so low, as to stoop to the level of killing one another, because of their,
slight, doctrinal differences. History gives accounts of these shameful, and unnecessary, wars among
Christians. The time has come for all denominations to recognize, that there is much more that unites
them, than that which separates them. It is time to come together, and learn from one another, in love.
Did the Messiah not tell us to 'love one another?' Did He not say that if a believer belonged to a group,
that was not our own, that we were to leave them alone? He said that if they were not against us, then
they were 'for' us! So, then, if they were 'for' us, should we not love them? The enemy has used
denominationalism, throughout the ages, to weaken the body of Christ. By compartmentalizing
Christians into many groups, the body of Christ is weakened tremendously.
The opposite is likewise true, when we forget our differences, and unite together in one accord, to
'love one another.' This bringing down of the dividing walls, only serves to strengthen, and to give us
great spiritual power. Instead of focusing on what separates us, due to our denominational pride, we
should try and see what unites us. What is it that unites us, then? That which unites us, is the faith, and
trust placed in the sacrifice of the Son as deemed by the Father, for the forgiveness of sins, period.
Many denominations created, and established, their own holy days and feast days. Some of them
didn't believe that feast days should be celebrated at all. They all had errors in their belief systems, to
varying degrees. Some had many, while others had less. Some had the Sacraments, and others had
emphasis on scrutinizing the Word, and worship services. They could only be blessed by the Father, if
they placed their trust in the completed work of the Messiah, and remained loyal to the doctrine of the
gospel.
God would never give credit or acknowledge any other doctrine established by man. The Father, in
His infinite compassion, could only observe the faith that a denomination had in His Son, and His eye
did not observe many of the flaws they had in their doctrines. He saw the trust they had placed, in the
only vehicle, He had established, for the forgiveness of sins, and He 'passed over' their errors in
doctrine.
Oh, what a truly great privilege, it is to have a spiritual covering! There is so much that we are
protected from, when we live under that covering. We are protected from the powers of darkness
fighting for control of our eternal souls. Perhaps we may not understand what a great privilege this is,
until we find ourselves out from under this protection. There is much more unseen spiritual activity
going on around us, than the physical activity, which our eyes do see!
We should always be giving thanks to God, for His constant divine intervention in our lives. Just as
we are unaware of divine angelic intervention in the spiritual realm, we are also unaware of dangerous
demonic activity in the spiritual realm, which is around us at all times! The enemy of our souls, is
treacherous, extremely cunning, and deceitful. He will stop at nothing to try and deceive us, and
ultimately destroy us, if we allow this to happen. With the same intensity that divine angels love and
care for us, so likewise, the dark angels hate us and desire to destroy us! They desire to cast
abominable filth upon us at all times. This is why we need protection in the high places of the spirit.
All this activity of good and evil is going on around us at all times. The divine forces of God, and the
dark forces of the enemy, are constantly fighting for our eternal souls. This is why we should be
always grateful for the gift of this priceless, spiritual protection.
What an utter and complete shame, if we allow this spiritual protection, to be taken away from us!
Men and women, who stand without a protective spiritual covering, live precarious lives, both
physically, and spiritually. The enemy has free access to harm them, anyway he can. With no
covering, and no protection, over their lives, they walk on spiritual thin ice. The enemy of their souls,
is allowed to prevail against them, because there is nothing to protect them from his ruthless attack.
This is why, we all need an umbrella of covering, in the spirit. All of heaven, is on 'our' side, when we
live lives pleasing to God. By living the truth contained within our own denomination, staying
grounded in the Word, and true to the gospel, we are under God's protective covering.
The Catholic Church is especially blessed by the Sacraments. By partaking of the Sacraments,
themselves, a door of blessing is opened that draws a person closer to God. The enemy hates, and flees
from anything that represents the shed Blood of the Lamb. The Sacraments have power because they
were established by the Lord, Himself. The Messiah said to Peter..."Upon this rock I shall build My
church and the gates of hell shall not be able to prevail against it."
What a tremendous privilege, and priceless gift, these Sacraments truly are! If only we could
observe what happens in the heavens, when we partake of these Sacraments? If we could, we would
run to church everyday to partake of the Eucharist! It is a great privilege of eternal repercussions, to
be free to partake of these blessed Sacraments of the Catholic Church! We should never take these
tremendous spiritual privileges for granted!
Perhaps another church does not rely so much on the Sacraments, but more on worship and praise
services. Other denominations, which stem from the base of the Catholic Church, are also pleasing to
God, as long as they remain true to the gospel. Established churches, with proper doctrine, founded on
the Word of God, serve to guide and illuminate souls on their earthly journey. They each have their
own light...one in one way, the other in another. Not one is perfect, but their purpose is to guide us and
lead us safely to our heavenly home.
Each denomination sheds as much light and truth, as its particular doctrine allows it to. God blesses
each denomination, as it remains faithful to His Word, and His commandments. It is very difficult to
live a life, pleasing to God, relying on our own strength. What a shame it would be, if we allow our
spiritual covering to be taken away from us!
If we could only get a glimpse of what it is that we are fighting against in the spirit realm? If we
would could, we would never, consider battling the enemy on our own, even for one second! Our
enemy has a voracious appetite. There are never enough souls in his lethal grip to satisfy him. The
enemy of our souls always desires to have more and more. He is fighting for all of the souls that were
created by God, for His glory, and His glory alone! The enemy of our souls is a liar and a thief, and he
will stop at nothing, to deceive us, and cause us to lose our salvation.
There are some denominations that are, actually, teaching doctrines of the enemy, as truth. The
unknowing souls, that believe these false doctrines, are being fed a lie of the enemy. He is working
double time, within some churches, and denominations, to try and deceive the sheep. He will try to lie
to us, even while we sit in a pew in church! If the doctrine of a particular church or denomination is
false, or allows behavior contrary to the Word of God, then Satan is the true pastor of that
congregation. We must be grounded in the Word and we must never call good, evil or evil, good. We
can fool ourselves or one another, but we will never fool God! Therefore, we must try to be watchful
at all times, since the enemy of our souls, is indeed a roaring lion, constantly looking for whom he can
devour.
We must examine ourselves, individually, and our own particular denomination, to see if we are
living up to God's expectancy of us. If not, we must immediately make an about face, and return to
God in repentance. We must plead with Him to heal us, and to heal our land. He is waiting patiently
for us to do this. It is never too late to turn back from the error of our ways. He said that if we turn to
Him in repentance, then He will turn to us, in mercy, forgiveness and compassion.
CHAPTER SEVEN: BABYLON THE GREAT
The entire sky became the backdrop for this part of the revelation. The movement of God’s arm
stretched across the firmament, from east to west, across the sky, in a heavenly demonstration of the
kingdoms of this earth. My being was in complete awe, as this indescribable scene continued to unfold
before my spiritual eyes. These were nations and empires, as they rose, and then eventually fell, from
their pinnacle of glory.
In the firmament I could see as God's arm would stand over a nation while it was allowed to rule,
then He would remove His arm, and that nation would fall from its position of power. He would then
go to the next nation in sequence, as that nation would rise, and then fall. They were each given an
allotted, predestined, time to rule as world empires. These individual empires had a set length of time
to rule most of the rest of the world as leading world powers.
Some of these empires would rule in righteousness, and others in unrighteousness, nevertheless,
they were appointed each their set time to rule. Each empire contributed to the general development of
mankind, as a whole. After their individually appointed time to rule reached its end, this power would
then be transferred to the next nation in sequence. These, great empires, all came to an end, when God
deemed their time to rule had been exhausted.
This power that was being passed on, from empire to empire, was the same spirit that had
originated in ancient Babylon. The last empire to receive the embodiment of the spirit of Babylon
would rise to the highest pinnacle of power, as compared to the nations that had preceded her. Since
the fall of this great nation would bring an end to the world-rule, imperialist spirit on earth, her fall is
destined to be the severest and most violent, with devastating repercussions that will affect the entire
world. In my spirit, I understood this to be the United States of America.
There was an angelic being standing next to me as we watched this incredible scene unfold before
us. Suddenly the vast expanse of land before us erupted with mushrooming columns of smoke.
Observing in disbelief, what almost seemed like a scene from a science fiction movie, my heart was
also saddened by what this represented. There could be nothing to compare it to, because nothing quite
like this had ever happened before, to any other nation on the face of the earth. My inner being
trembled at the finality of the judgment engulfing this nation. It was an absolute, total, and fierce
devastation. This nation would never be able to recover from this final, horrific and complete
destruction.
"And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into
darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the
great and terrible day of the Lord." (Joel 2: 32-32)
This would be an ultimate and utter destruction, without any hope of ever returning to, or
rebuilding what had been destroyed, as most nations do after a war. I didn't see a sequence of scenes of
acts of war, but instead one single act that would cause infinitely more destruction in one hour than all
the previous wars put together. No one will be expecting this attack, and no one will be able to stop it.
All nations will see her burning, and shudder at the severity of the judgments falling upon her. As this
incredible scene continued to unfold before my eyes, I asked the angel at my side, if this nation had
been properly warned before all these horrific judgments fell upon it? His answer to me ,was that all
the prophets of ancient times had seen this same scene, and had prophesied about it. This nation had
already been warned many centuries before by the biblical prophets.
"Flee from the midst of Babylon, and every one save his life!
Do not be cut off in her iniquity, for this is the time of the Lord's
vengeance: He shall recompense her. Babylon was a golden cup
in the Lord's hand, that made all the earth drunk. The nations drank
her wine; therefore the nations are deranged. Babylon has suddenly
fallen and been destroyed." (Jeremiah 51:6-8)
Almost all the prophets of old had seen the same vision of a mystery Babylon, or an unknown
nation, being totally destroyed by means unfamiliar to them. For example, the prophet Joel had seen a
scene of sudden devastation of “blood and fire and pillars of smoke,” that would turn the sun into
darkness and the moon into blood. Jeremiah 50 and 51 describes an ultimate destruction and
desolation, to fall on a 'mystery Babylon.' They were not given the specific name of this nation.
Isaiah 47 warns us of a proud lady who believes she will be a lady forever, and that there is no other
nation like her, yet, she will fall in one hour, and in one moment. Almost all the prophets saw the
destruction of a very powerful nation, and only knew that this would occur at an unknown future time.
They could not know, when this would happen because they were all seeing this vision in the eternal
realm. In the eternal realm, past, present and future are all one. They do give an indication that Israel
will be dwelling safely, and the captives will have returned to Zion, when Babylon is destroyed.
"O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground without a throne...
And you said, 'I shall be a lady forever,' so that you did not take these
things to heart, 'I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not
sit as a widow, nor shall I know the loss of children; but these two things
shall come to you in moment, in one day. The loss of children and
widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness
because of the multitude of your sorceries..." (Isaiah 47 1, 7-9)
All nations shall stand in utter disbelief, and awe at the waves of intense judgments falling, on this
once great nation. They had all perceived her to be the model of a successful and prosperous super
power. The severity of these judgments have a direct correlation to the degree of spiritual and material
blessings that had been bestowed upon, this once proud land. In many ways, this nation, has always
represented an answer to the problems of people, the world over. To many, she was a shelter from
political persecution, to others it was a place to worship as they saw fit, and still to others it was the
land of infinite opportunities.
"With your wisdom and your understanding you have gained riches
for yourself, and gathered gold and silver into your treasuries; by your
great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches, and your heart
is lifted up because of your riches."Therefore thus says the Lord God
"Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god, behold
therefore, I will bring strangers against you, the most terrible of the
nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your
wisdom, and defile your splendor. They shall throw you down into
the Pit, and you shall die the death of the slain in the midst of the
seas." (Ezekiel 28:6-10)
Once this 'mystery Babylon' is out of the picture as a world superpower, great evil will spread over
the earth. Evil men with sinister projects, and principles will thrive with no one to stop them. These
will be men of hard hearts, who stop at nothing, to spread their venom to the mostly unprotected
nations. They will have no compassion, but will rule cruelly over lesser nations, including the Third
World. I remember feeling how bloodthirsty and cruel their ideology was, and how easily they would
rule the world with terror, since there was nothing to stop them. I supposed this to be a combination of
many nations, who do not follow the Judeo-Christian value system, and do not know the God of Israel.
Since they don’t believe in the God of Israel, they have nothing to stop them, from committing
horrendous atrocities. Their value system is totally different from ours. What we esteem highly, is not
esteemed by them at all. Life has no value for them. The God of Israel says..."Choose life!" Their god
says..."Choose death!"
The strong eagle of democracy will fall off her high perch, and nothing and no one will be able to
come to her aid, or assist her on that very dark day. Nothing will be able to stand in the way of the evil
scheme of these combined (Communist-Islamic) forces, and their desire for world domination. Once
this American super power is no longer there to protect the lesser nations, they will be left vulnerable,
and susceptible to the whims of these combined evil forces.
"Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your
wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid
you before kings, that they might gaze at you.
"You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by
the iniquity of your trading; therefore I brought fire from your midst;
it has devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in
the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples
are astonished at you; you have become a horror, and shall be no
more forever." (Ezekiel 28 17-19)
The only thing that could stop this judgment on America, would be a national repentance. This
would entail a return of this great nation to her roots, in utter humility, and with a contrite heart before
God. This must be done both individually, and collectively. If God completely removes His protective
covering, that is still over America, to this day, then Satan will be allowed to come in, and do as he
wishes. These terrible judgments will fall upon America, if she continues on the path against God.
When He removes His covering of protection, then this nation will stand totally helpless before her
enemies.
As negative, and as somber, as this may sound, scripture testifies to the fact, that if America turns
back to God, He will forgive her completely. He desires to see our broken spirit, when we realize, that
we have not acted according to His will. This is something we are all guilty of to some degree. It is my
personal belief that America, still has time to return to her God, and to her former place of glory
among the nations. God always warned cities and nations before they were punished, this must also
hold true for modern day America.
“When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is
because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies…Cast away from you all the transgressions
which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die…
For I have no pleasure in one who dies,” says the Lord God.“Therefore turn and live!”(Ezek.18:30-32)
He is waiting for us to turn to Him with all our hearts, and He will then turn to us in utter
forgiveness and compassion. Although, this first step, must be taken by us. If we humble ourselves, He
promises to exalt us... yet if we continue in the stubbornness of our own understanding, we must suffer
the consequences.
"Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His
judgments, and His statutes which I command you today..."then you say in your heart, my power and
the might of my hand have gained me this wealth." (Deut 8:11, 17)
America is a covenant nation, and a type of Israel, in that they were both founded on God’s Word.
No other nations can attest to this fact. Her many contributions to the world such as the Industrial
Revolution, the invention of electricity, the car, the telephone, television, the motion picture industry,
etc. were all direct blessings coming from God, Himself.
People of all nations, and tongues streamed to her light as they fled the poverty and despair of their
own native lands. Yet in a period of more or less forty years, this once proud nation has fallen from
her high perch. The proud eagle has taken a nose dive into the pit of oblivion. Her destruction will
come upon her suddenly and she will not be able to shake off the judgment coming directly from the
throne of the Holy One of Israel.
"Hear, O Israel; You are to cross over the Jordan today, and go
in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities
great and fortified up to heaven...
"Do not think in your heart, after the Lord your God has cast them
out from before you, saying, 'Because of my righteousness the
Lord has brought me in to possess this land'; but it is because
of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God drives
them out from before you, and that He may fulfill the word that He
swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob." (Deut 9:1,4-6)
America was also founded on Judeo-Christian values, and beliefs. Although, the day came, when
America took God out of her schools and public institutions. Our children are forbidden to take Bibles
to school, but they are encouraged to read works of nonsense which promote witchcraft and New Age
beliefs, with no problems whatsoever. There has been a complete turn about in our belief system. They
call what is right, wrong, and what is wrong, right. We do not understand that, what can be totally
acceptable to men, can be a complete abomination in the eyes of God.
"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness
for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those that are prudent in their own sight!" (Isaiah 5:20-21)
Just as ancient Israel was chosen, so America was chosen. They were both chosen to bear the Word
and the precepts of God, Himself. Yet even though they were chosen, they still had to abide by and be
obedient to His laws and commandments. They were by no means exempt just because they had been
chosen.
In Deuteronomy 1, the ancient Israelites were clearly warned to be very careful from not turning to
other gods, and from not following and obeying His commandments. He told them that if they obeyed
and held fast to Him, He would in turn drive out nations stronger and more powerful than themselves.
Through His power and might they would dispossess nations that had already been settled and
established, and they would take over these lands and make them their own. These tribes and peoples,
that the ancient Israelites would conquer, were peoples that worshiped other gods. The only reason
ancient Israel had the power to conquer these many tribes and peoples, stronger and mightier than
themselves, was the fact that they obeyed and stood for the God who created the heavens and the earth.
God also cautions ancient Israel to be extremely careful to make sure that they remained obedient
to Him and walking in all His ways. Deuteronomy 11 continues in verse 26-28 to warn Israel to watch
her step carefully, “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: “the blessing, if you obey
the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not
obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you
today, to go after other gods which you have not known.”
In perfect correlation to ancient Israel, modern day, America, falls under this same mold. She was
allowed to conquer the ancient peoples and tribes native to this land only because she was endowed
with the Word of God, His statutes and precepts. Just as ancient Israel they could never look to
themselves in pride, thinking that they, had accomplished all this by their own power. The reverse
would also be true, as they were warned, that if they did not remain in the obedience to God, they
would fall from power. Obedience to God and His laws had allowed them to conquer these nations, in
the first place. He then warns them that if they fell from grace, He would have to curse them because
of their disobedience to Him.
"The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that
you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish
quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you
have forsaken Me." (Deut 28:20)
This is a concept almost impossible to conceive of. How can God, who had just chosen, and blessed
a nation, also be capable of cursing, that same nation, in such a horrendous way? We can read
Deuteronomy 28, to see what will happen to a nation when it falls under His curse, after it has been the
recipient of His manifold blessings. Because they had been chosen, therefore, their responsibility to
live in obedience to Him, would be greater than that of other nations. Nations who had not been
chosen, and blessed, were not required to live in righteousness as a chosen nation was. To whom much
is given, much is required.
No matter how much we wish to deny this fact, we cannot escape the fact that this nation was
founded on everything that we are trying to eliminate from our classrooms, public institutions and
offices today. Yet America fails to realize that all the blessings that were bestowed upon her, came
about, because she had been founded on a strong Judeo-Christian belief system.
Replacement theology is a very common false doctrine infiltrating many Christian denominations
today. This is the twisted belief that God is finished dealing with Israel, and the Jewish people as
a whole. These denominations claim that they are now the new Israel of God. Those who erroneously
trust, and follow the false teachings of these, so called, men of God and not the Word of God are going
down a dangerous path. We must stay close to the Word and let the Spirit of God teach us, as we grow
in faith and wisdom. We must staunchly reject the slight variations and adjustments to His Word.
These misguided blind guides, are misleading multitudes upon multitudes of Christians, down the
wrong path.
“Oh, my people! Those who lead you cause you to err. And destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah
9:16).
God is not, by any means, finished dealing with His people, Israel. They are still the 'apple of His
eye,' and He will still bless those that bless them, and curse those that curse them. America must
understand that when she pressures Israel to give up land for (so called) peace, they are bringing a
curse upon themselves. The more America continues to pressure Israel, so will the judgments of God,
become more serious and forceful in nature, against this land.
"I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall
salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the
riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their
fullness? For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine
office: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of
them. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them
be, but life from the dead? For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy,
so are the branches.
And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among
them, and with them partakes of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches.
But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were
broken off, that I might be grafted in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou
standest by faith.
Be not high minded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also
spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but
toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they
also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature
into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their
own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be
wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the
Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the
Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I
shall take away their sins.
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they
are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. For as ye in
times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have
these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath
concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all." (Romans 11:11-32)
America beware!! What you do to Israel, shall be done to you...only more so. You are not dealing
with Israel, but with the God of Israel, Himself! Anyone reading this can look up the details leading up
to Hurricane Katrina. Just 7 days before Katrina hit New Orleans, America pressured Israel to give up
Gush Katif for peace...yet peace never came.
With no one to defend her, Israel will be forced to place her trust wholly in the God of Israel for her
defense, and her salvation. Just as when the young, and small David, overthrew mighty Goliath, so
will tiny Israel, overthrow all the powerful and mighty nations that shall come against her in the war
to end all wars.
Just as David could not fight Goliath with the armor of King Saul, so Israel will have no more need
of military arms coming from America for her defense. Her defense shall come from the Holy One of
Israel alone! He is even now calling His people home...
"My people, go out of the midst of her! And let everyone deliver
himself from the fierce anger of the Lord...
"As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon the
slain of all the earth shall fall. You who have escaped the sword, Get
away! Do not stand still! Remember the Lord afar off, and let Jerusalem
come to your mind." (Jeremiah 51:45, 49-50)
May the God of Israel illuminate our understanding to see His hand at work in these last days!
CHAPTER EIGHT: GREAT JOY IN HEAVEN
There is a heavenly feast of joy, among the angels, when one solitary sinner turns to God in true
repentance. Jesus said that there is more joy in heaven over the repentance of one sinner, than over
ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. The very word 'sinner' has many levels,
and can mean many things to different people. Actually all of us, are sinners, to one degree or another.
Sin stands as a concrete barrier between God and us. Complete repentance is when we are finally
realize the seriousness of our sins, causing us to become crushed and broken in spirit. The Word of
God says that:
"God will not despise a heart that is broken and crushed." (Psalms 51:19)
In Deuteronomy 30: 1-10, God tells His people that He will forgive them and bless them again,
only if they return to Him, with all of their hearts, and all of their souls. Again, in Revelations, Jesus
states that lukewarm faith is not acceptable to Him. He would prefer that we were hot or cold, but
never lukewarm. God is looking for passion, and the whole heart in full repentance. Any repentance,
which offers God, less than all of our hearts, and all of our souls, is an insult to His mercy towards us.
Every human being, sins, though many times, we are unaware, that we are doing so. Remember that
Jesus said that even when we commit a sin in our hearts, in heaven this is viewed, as having fully
executed it.
A person sins just by living in this sinful world. A person who believes he is righteous, must be
guilty of at least a few trivial sins. Therefore, if we are guilty of a few trivial sins, we are sinners,
although we may perceive ourselves to be totally righteous.
We may see ourselves as 'perfect' and 'righteous,' although heaven may perceive us in another light,
altogether. If God perceives just one sin or imperfection in us, this constitutes in us being classified as
a 'sinner.' The Word of God says that if we are guilty of breaking just one commandment, we are seen
as a transgressor of the entire Law. Therefore, although we may have very few sins...we are still
sinners, although we do not perceive ourselves as being 'sinners.'
This is not the 'sinner' that Messiah was referring to when He made the statement about there being
great joy in heaven, over one sinner that repents. I believe that He is referring to a completely
different type of sinner. I believe He was referring to sinners in every sense of the word. These are
sinners, which, most law abiding citizens, hardly ever have the opportunity to come in contact with.
They may be a crack cocaine addict, a useless alcoholic laying in the gutter, a worthless prostitute, or
perhaps even a hardened criminal.
Most of us 'righteous' people do not even want to know that these type of people exist in the world.
These are the hardened lost souls rejected by society whom nobody cares about, and never will.
The intense joy, which is felt in heaven, over the repentance, of one of these miserable sinners is
beyond the scope of what the human mind can conjure. When one of these 'hardened' sinners whole
heartedly repents of his sins, and turns to the God, all of heaven has a joyous celebration! When this
sinner finally realizes the depth of God's mercy, he is overcome with gratitude in his heart. He
understands, firsthand, that indeed, NOTHING is impossible with God!
What the rest of us may view, as a total 'lost cause,' may not be so, in His eyes. On the other hand,
something that may be very acceptable to us, could be a total abomination from His holy perspective.
The accusers of the adulterous woman, were poised, and ready to strike (rightfully so according to the
Law), when the Lord delivered, and forgave her. When Jesus walked the earth, He was the evident, and
compassionate, love of God, in our midst. When God revealed His glory to Moses in the cleft of the
rock, this is the statement that He made:
"The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in goodness and
truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, transgression and sin."(Exodus 34:7)
Moses was allowed to take a glimpse into the very heart of God. He was shown that God is anxious
to forgive the sinner who repents. Although, if a sinner continues in his sin, then he will die in his sin,
as is stated further on in the same verse. The very nature and essence of the Creator, is patiently long
suffering. He waits for, even one, of these worthless 'sinners' to repent of their sins, and turn back to
Him with a contrite heart. It is a concept almost impossible to conceive of, but the Creator of the
universe, is patiently waiting for one of these pitiful 'sinners' to come to Him, for forgiveness and
mercy.
Can we even conceive, of God, having to wait for anyone...let alone a worthless sinner? When one
of these lost souls turns to God, in full repentance, there is joy beyond description in heaven. The
angels have a huge spiritual feast of joy, in a triumphant, and glorious 'angelic celebration.' It is one of
the instances in heaven in which the 'joy' is, extremely intense, and exuberant. Jesus made reference to
this joy, over repentant sinners, yet it is very difficult for us to genuinely grasp what He was trying to
say. It is difficult to grasp, because there is no point of reference, on this earth, as to how heaven
views the repentance of a 'sinner'.
"I say to unto you, that likewise joy shall be great in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more
than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance." (Luke 15:7)
Jesus expelled seven demons from Mary Magdalene, yet everywhere the gospel is preached, we
read of her love for her Savior. The Messiah, Himself, stated that wherever the gospel is read, they
will read of one, repentant, sinner, who poured oil on His head, in preparation for His burial. These
sinners had enormous accounts against them in the spiritual realm...yet God forgave them! They were
forgiven much, therefore, they shall love much! When a hardened sinner, renounces sin, all of heaven
rejoices! Even if they had been totally despised, rejected and viewed as being vile by society, in
heaven, they are the MAIN attraction!
Why was there such intense joy, on the faces of the angels, as they observed the repentance of ONE
vile sinner, on earth? This soul, which was once lost, and on its way to hell, is now, on its way home to
them! The sinner is valuable to heaven, because he knows that he is nothing, without God's mercy and
forgiveness. He feels shame and remorse for his sins. He can never be self-righteous, since he already
knows that he is worthless, on his own. He knows that he led a vile life steeped in sin and self. Nobody
has to tell him what he was, he knows very well what he was, and what he did.
The parable of the two men at the synagogue is another parable that perfectly demonstrates this
amazing truth. The Messiah tells us that there are two men praying at the synagogue. The first man,
gives thanks to God that he is a righteous man, and not a worthless sinner, like the man standing next
to him. The second man, cannot even lift up his eyes to heaven, because of the heavy weight of his
sins upon his shoulders. He can only ask God to forgive him, a miserable sinner. Jesus said that, the
second man, left the synagogue in right standing with God, but the first man, did not.
When a sinner, such as this, repents he is grateful to the very bottom of his heart. Since God has
been graciously merciful to him, his heart overflows with thankfulness. He is fully aware of, and
hopes in his own salvation. He fully realizes that it was through grace, and grace alone, that he will be
saved. This grace was freely bestowed upon him, and he is cognizant of the fact, that he is totally
undeserving of so great a gift. Just like the sinful woman at the Pharisee's house, their tears of joy and
thankfulness, will wipe their Savior's feet.
"One of the Pharisees desired him that He would eat with him. And He went into the Pharisee's
house, and sat down to meat. And behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that
Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, and stood at his feet
behind Him weeping, and began to wash them with her hair and kissed His feet and anointed them
with the ointment.
Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he thought in his heart,
'If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what manner of woman this is that
toucheth him: for she is a sinner.'
And Jesus answering said unto him, 'Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith,
'Master, say on.'
There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other
fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of
them will love him most?
Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto Him, Thou
hast rightly judged...Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved
much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little." (Luke 7:36-43,47)
The Pharisee had the wrong attitude. He was conscious of his own righteousness. The sinful woman
was only conscious of her own worthlessness. The Pharisee was living a walk of 'salvation by works.'
He had forgotten the mercy, and love of God, towards sinners. The Pharisee was relying on his own
goodness to redeem him. The sinful woman had no other choice, but to come to the Messiah's feet,
knowing that, mercy, and mercy alone, could redeem her from her condition of wretched sinfulness.
The love, and mercy of God became a profound reality in her life. Now, she, could share His great
mercy, and love with other sinners.
Again, these lost sinners, are fully aware of the fact, that God's mercy is greater, than any sin which
they had committed. They understand, that the mercy, and forgiveness, which was bestowed upon
them, came about through, no effort of their own. They also know, that their own salvation, had
nothing to do with, any of their 'own' righteousness. This compassionate gift, of total forgiveness has
completely changed their lives, and given them a new beginning. Just as King David states in Psalm
51, that only after he had sinned, and turned to God, in repentance...then and only then, would he be
able to...teach transgressors His ways.
Heaven searches, constantly, for repentant sinners such as these. Their value in heaven is priceless.
This is because, they are fully aware, that the salvation of their eternal souls, had absolutely, nothing
to do with them. Their hearts are brimming with intense gratefulness for God's infinite mercy towards
them...a worthless sinner. They love God with a passion, that few of us can ever possess. This is why,
in heaven, they are the 'ultimate' prize.
They are precious because they love God with all of their hearts, being fully aware of His infinite
mercy towards them. It is impossible for them to ever offer God lukewarm love. God is always
waiting and searching for such passionate lovers to love Him, as He so deserves to be loved. Let us all,
therefore, keep the very first commandment which requires that we love God, with all of our might,
heart and soul.
CHAPTER NINE: OUR MATERIAL POSSESSIONS
Suddenly, before my eyes, was a shocking scene that I shall never forget. I observed multitudes of
men and women, as they falling straight down, into the kingdom of the enemy. These were average
people, who had lived very acceptable, or 'normal' lives. These souls had just left this world, and were
now faced with the stark reality of where they were going. They were amazed to see that they had
completely wasted their lives with earthly endeavors and now found themselves totally bankrupt
spiritually. These souls had focused only on the things of this world. Now they would have to deal
with the consequence of their choices, for all of eternity.
It was shocking, to observe, the fact, that these souls, had not been necessarily 'bad' people. They
were just average men, and women, who had directed, all of their love, and attention towards their life
on earth. Their entire focus had been placed on their bodies, earthly abodes, and possessions. They had
had no thought for what awaited them, after they left this world. These souls had ignored, and
neglected God, not by choice, but because they simply had had no time for Him. Their time, had
entirely been spent, on what concerned their lives here on earth. By having had neglected God, they
also had rejected Him.
These lost souls, had made idols out of their worldly possessions, without being aware of having
done this. Any 'THING,' which stands between us, and our Creator, is seen as an idol, in the eternal
realm. Any 'THING,' that we value more than Him, does great damage to our souls. We can live in this
world, but not be 'OF' this world, because this world is passing away, but our eternal souls do not pass
away. Our souls will live forever....either in heaven or in hell.
Earthly knowledge, and acquiring academic degrees are of great importance, here, but they are of
no value, in the spiritual realm. This is why Jesus said that, the Father, reveals His secrets to children,
and not to the wise, and learned. Physical beauty, power, intelligence, social standing etc., are just not
important in heaven, in any way whatsoever. In other words, things that we may think to be of so
much importance, really are not. On the other hand, though, the worthless values of this world, are
seen as priceless gems in the heavenly realm!
"Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." (Colossians 3:2)
In many ways, the truth is, that there is a reverse reality, between the finite and infinite realms.
Heaven is an exact reverse mirror of earth. Likewise the horrors of the kingdom of the enemy, are also
impossible to experience while living here in the physical realm. This truth was even difficult, for me,
to realize as it was being revealed to me in the spirit.
The difficulty is in the fact, that we have no frame of reference on earth. Nothing here, indicates to
us, what awaits us, after we leave this earth. Nothing here, shows us, how very different, life, in the
eternal realm, will be. There is simply no possible way to compare what we shall experience then, to
our lives here on earth. As only natural, we go about living out our everyday lives, yet nothing we may
experience here, will even hint as to what awaits us after we leave this earth. The infinite realms are
not NATURAL!! They are completely unnatural to anything we experience here on earth!
We will find ourselves in, either one, of two, very different realms of existence, for all eternity!
How we live out our lives here on earth will determine which of those two opposing kingdoms ,will be
our eternal abode.
Aside from the Word of God, and the church, nothing indicates to us what awaits us after death.
There just is no other way to explain this very important spiritual truth! The true dignity of the human
being can only be understood within the backdrop of eternity. Simply and humbly believing the Word
of God is the key to the entire heart of the matter. Our faith is our secret treasure, and our most
valuable spiritual key, which will open the gate to the kingdom of God.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)
"Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that
he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)
Again, some of the many concerns of life, which we have put our little red flags on, are completely
unimportant to God. Also, likewise, the reverse of this concept is also true. Many things that we find
very insignificant here on earth, are of immense value in His realm. With this in mind, we must
realize that just living our lives for the here and now will not prepare us for the next...eternal realm.
Again, this concept is extremely difficult to explain since the value systems between heaven and earth
are so very different.
The Word clearly tells us what awaits us after we leave this world. Although, we have heard the
message many times, it is easily drowned out, as we go about living out our everyday lives. Our
concern with our material endeavors and possessions rob us of a spiritual or interior life. We either
believe God's Word, or we don't, period. Jesus often taught us about this very important truth but the
lesson was always the same...we either believe it, or we don't.
The story of Lazarus and the rich man is a perfect example of this 'reverse' principle. The story
states that the rich man lived sumptuously while on earth and that Lazarus was a beggar that ate the
crumbs that fell from his table. They were very different, yet neither one of them knew where they
would go after death. By stating that the rich man lived sumptuously, we can conjure up thoughts of
the rich man, enjoying elaborate meals, while he dined in a beautiful mansion.
What could possibly be wrong with living an earthly life surrounded by things of exquisite taste,
luxury and beauty? Which one of us, would not desire to live a life of prosperity and ease as, this rich
man? The story does not say that this man was necessarily a 'bad' man, it just says that he was a 'rich'
man. Likewise, the story does not state, that Lazarus was a 'good' man, only that he was a worthless
beggar. When both of them died, Lazarus had the great honor of having the Angels, come and escort
him, to his eternal abode in the bosom of Abraham. The rich man died and went straight to hell.
Jesus tells us further on in the story, that the rich man, once he found himself in hell, asked
Abraham to send someone to warn his brethren that this place, of eternal torment, really does exist. In
other words, the rich man, did not have a clue that there really was a hell, until he found himself in it!
The answer that was given him was, that if they did not hear Moses, or the prophets, then they would
not listen though one returned from the dead to warn them. The poor worthless beggar, Lazarus, would
now be loved, and cherished in an atmosphere of unspeakable ecstasy for all eternity.
Abraham told the rich man that he had lived his life on earth sumptuously and now it would be
Lazarus who would enjoy his life in heaven for all eternity and he, the rich man, would spend eternity
in the torment of hell.
When Jesus was telling us this, He was not giving us a parable but He was telling us a true story.
He explains to us the incredible paradox between life on earth, and life in, either one, of the eternal
realms. Both realms are extremes. One, is a realm of extreme ecstasy and joy in the glory of God's
kingdom, the other, is a realm of extreme horror, shame, dishonor and pain in Satan's kingdom.
This reverse concept of the opposing values between life on earth and life in the spiritual realm is
almost impossible for us to understand. This truth goes against what we learn in our day to day lives.
If our lives are lived exclusively for the 'here and now' without developing a spiritual life...we will
miss heaven. We will miss it without ever receiving any indication of what a practical, though
Godless, life produces in the eternal realm.
Did Jesus not tell us not to store treasures here on earth, where the thief comes and steals and the
moth rots? Did He not tell us to store treasures in heaven where neither thief will steal nor moth shall
rot? We are eternal beings who are on earth for a limited time. Our lives here on earth will determine
the destiny of our eternal souls.
If we are wise, faithful, and careful with our earthly experience, then we shall reap many rewards in
heaven. We'll realize that while on earth we were able to earn crowns and learn valuable lessons that
will benefit us in the eternal realm of the Father. Finite life on earth is like a second compared to
living life in eternity. The thought of living forever is extremely difficult for the human mind to
comprehend. We live in constant awareness of time while on earth, therefore it is almost impossible to
comprehend the concept of timelessness.
Jesus asked that what would it benefit us if we gain the entire world but lose our own souls? He
spoke to us many times about this very important lesson concerning the contrary realities between
earthly life and life in the eternal realm. He told us that we cannot love God and wealth/materialism.
We will either love one and hate the other or vice versa.
We become so engrossed in our lives here that we often forget that our stay on earth is only
transitory. There is just so much to do and so much to own that we have no time to think about
anything but the here and now. We may think that the many acquisitions we gain here will benefit us
when we get to God's kingdom, yet nothing could be further from the truth. One's whole entire
lifetime can be spent acquiring and hoarding possessions, only to end up with a bankrupt spiritual
account. Therefore, let us never forget that, naked we came into this world, and naked we shall leave
it.
All of us admire and look up to 'fame' and wish we could be famous, yet I saw that in heaven fame
is of no value whatsoever. The angelic beings seemed not to care, or even to notice, if anyone had been
famous while on earth. To their surprise, many of the very rich, famous, and influential people of this
world will find completely empty spiritual accounts when they leave this world. It will be an
extremely harsh and rude awakening for them. These are the people that spend all their time, energy,
and talents on acquiring possessions, power, and status in society. They will find absolutely nothing
upon entering the eternal phase of their existence. They will be leaving behind everything that was of
value to them while they lived on earth. They will realize that they had fallen prey to a terrible lie of
Satan. Life had dealt them a trick hand and all had ended in sadness and horror.
"Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it
for eternal life."
(John 12:25)
The sad part is that it will be too late for many, when they find out this reverse reality of God's
eternal kingdom. These souls will find out that they had spend their entire lives trying to be someone,
possess as much as possible, and know as much as possible, only to find out that these things are of no
value, in the eternal realm of the spirit. Not only are they of no value and worthless but these things
will all work 'against' them instead of 'for' them. These things will envelop the soul in the ultimate
deception of all. Jesus stated that it would be more difficult for a rich man to enter heaven than for a
camel to go through the eye of a needle.
Then He spoke a parable to them, saying:"The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And
he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?' So he
said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops
and my goods. And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your
ease; eat, drink, and be merry.' But God said to him, 'You fool! This night your soul will be required of
you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?' So is he who lays up treasure for
himself, and is not rich toward God." (Luke 12:16-21)
Persons who live entirely for this material world, and this world alone, are headed straight towards
eternal disaster. They will not be able to realize that they were being deceived until they find
themselves in the place of torment for all eternity. By that time, it will be too late to change whatever
in their lives, had led them to this terrible place. Life was a gift given to them to use wisely. They
scoffed at the gift of salvation, which was paid for in full and at a very great price. They were warned
by the Word, priests, pastors and finally by the prophets of God. Yet they allowed themselves to be
swept away by the lawlessness and corrupt lifestyle engulfing the entire world in these dangerous
times. They were careless and did not believe God's Word, and the price they will pay will be the loss
of their eternal souls.
"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the
things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed
can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God ."(Romans 8:5-8)
Each individual soul was created to know, love, and serve an awesome Creator, who is worthy
beyond all words of our honor and praise. The souls that are overly attached to the material world will
spend all of eternity lamenting not having understood their purpose for having lived life on earth.
These souls will give anything to have a chance to try again and do it right this time but by then it
will be too late. They will spend eternity regretting not having lived for God but only having lived for
'this' world and its material trappings. Paul said that by loving this world we make ourselves an enemy
of God. This truth is never demonstrated to us just by going about our everyday lives. Only the Word,
itself, and churches with doctrines based on the Word will deliver this message to us.
"Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind..."(Romans
12:2)
"But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world
has been crucified to me, and I to the world." (Galatians 6:14)
The Messiah said that if the world was capable of doing what they did to Him while the wood was
still green what would the world be capable of doing when the wood was dry? Well, now, we find
ourselves in the time of the 'dry wood.'
The world is becoming increasingly hostile to sound doctrine. Yet, it is sound doctrine that will
save the soul. There is increased demonic activity now, since the enemy knows that his time is short.
His influence is seen everywhere, movies, books, and fashion, etc. His influence will become
increasingly more and more evident as the Messianic era approaches. He is very subtle about
influencing our lives. If he were to come undisguised, we would run for our lives! But he comes to us
disguised as a wolf in sheep's clothing to deceive as many of us as he can. He infiltrates our churches
with gentle and true sounding false doctrines that are very easy to accept.
The false teaching of the prosperity doctrine is one of Satan's most widely used tools. This false
doctrine tells Christians, while they sit in church, to live the good life and be comfortable in their
wealth. It teaches Christians to seek and manipulate God for what He will give them, and not for WHO
HE IS! It tells them to relax and live for today, while they acquire more and more material wealth and
possessions.
These deceived believers received and accepted the subtle message that materialism is the true way
of the cross. So therefore, they can just eat, drink and be merry. Nobody tells them that if they do not
suffer with Christ...then they shall not reign with Christ, either! It teaches them that they can live for
this world and prosper, since Jesus already paid the price for their sins. So, let us live for today and the
'here and now,' then when we die we will go and live forever with Jesus! This is a lie straight from the
pit of hell! This false doctrine teaches merriment, when we should be weeping, and lamenting,
begging God to heal us and to heal our land.
If we are not willing to suffer with Him, and through Him to die to the world, then we shall neither
reign with Him! Satan does not care for the sheep, and only seeks their destruction. Another of Satan's
great deceptions is to get people to believe that he does not exist, and that there is no hell. He tells us,
'how can such a good God create such a terrible place?' Why should we protect ourselves and our
families from coming to this terrible place if it does not exist?
Jesus spoke more about 'this' terrible place than He did about heaven. He wanted to warn us of this
place and that it does 'indeed' exist, because He cares for the sheep and for their eternal well-being.
The Father does not wish that anyone should come to this place. He does not want even the worse
sinner that has ever lived to lose their soul. He hates the sin but loves the sinner.
While we live on this earth there is always time to turn around and start on the road back to God.
He will turn to us, when we turn to Him. Just like the Prodigal Son, when the Father sees us still very
far off, He will make haste to meet us and prepare a feast for us. He so very much longs to recover
what was lost, that He is willing to forgive and forget completely.
Simple acts of self-less love are very important in the realm of the Father. Always seeing others as
better than ourselves and helping those less fortunate than ourselves...these are the big issues in
heaven. Helping the helpless, loving the loveless and dying to self each and every day are of utmost
importance to heaven. We should always be trying to see others the way God sees them. This love
should also be extended to include the world of nature. All created things deserve our respect and care
since we are their stewards. We must then try to be wise stewards of God's creation because creation
relies on us to do so.
All races and cultures are worthy of our respect, simply for the fact that they are very important to
God. He created the immense variety of cultures and races in the world for His own Glory. Let us live
in this world but not 'belong' to this world. Let us know that this world and its 'things' are passing
away, they are transitory. Let us understand that we are ETERNAL beings living in a transitory body.
Let us not be surprised to find an empty account on our behalf when we leave this world. Instead let
us try and use every precious moment that we live on this earth to build spiritual heavenly treasures,
for ourselves, where the thief does not break in and steal and the moth does not eat away. Let us
understand that we will have all of eternity to enjoy these priceless spiritual treasures in the Creator's
awesome realm of spirit and truth.
"But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts
thereof."(Romans 13:14)
CHAPTER TEN: LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION
Jesus was at my side as we walked together. He was taking me to a place that I could sense was of
great importance to Him. His tender love, compassion, and forgiveness enveloped my spirit
completely. He was speaking words of wisdom to my spirit as we walked together on this journey
through the firmament. The totally encompassing unconditional love I felt at Jesus' side can only
compare slightly to what we feel when we spend quality time with our father, our husband, and our
best friend, multiplied a thousand times! I didn't know where we were going, but I knew that the place
where He was leading me to was very, very important to His Sacred Heart of love.
Suddenly we stopped and I could see the incredible beauty of the place we had just arrived at. It
was like a picture postcard. The scenery was extremely beautiful and perfect to behold. The grass was
greener than any grass on earth, and the flowers were of incredible hues and shades which I had never
seen on earth. There were swings, benches, and many children playing everywhere. Then I also noticed
that there were only children in this beautiful garden. These children were always in the presence of
Jesus, which was reflected in the joy emanating from their little faces. I understood that this was the
place where aborted and miscarried babies go to.
"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together
in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them."(Psalm 139:13-16)
Since children are so very important to God, therefore marriage is sacred and binding, because
eternal souls are created from the union of two human beings. This unique soul is destined to spend all
of eternity worshipping and praising God in His kingdom! Our values must change when we realize
and start to see things from God's eternal perspective. Life on this earth is indeed fleeting, but our
actions here do have eternal consequences. Therefore, every moment of life lived on earth is of utmost
importance. Especially important is the way we raise and influence our children. Children are a gift
from God. He has entrusted them to us for safe keeping while here on earth. Yes, we have help from
their guardian angels, at all times, but we must try to teach them how to live lives pleasing to their
Creator. His Word says that we must teach our children the way that leads to life. They are entrusted
to us for this purpose. With the help of their guardian angels, they are our responsibility while we live
on this earth.
Life begins at conception. Once life is conceived, it is given an eternal soul. This eternal soul is just
that...eternal. Under normal circumstances living out one's life on earth will determine the eternal
destiny of our souls. It must either live forever in heaven with God in His kingdom or forever in hell
with Satan in his kingdom. The children I was now observing before me were never given that chance.
They left this world before they could ever make a choice.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations."(Jeremiah 1:5)
These little children were now living in an eternal paradise, filled with gardens and bubbling
brooks. Here they would be totally immersed in the joy and the presence of the Lord, forever! To be in
His presence...far surpasses anything we can attain on this earth!
There was only one small detail lacking in this incredible place of joy and wonder. They were like
little angels, who had come here, but not out of their own free will. They had never lived long enough,
to exercise their God-given gift of free-will. They were as the angels, who also do not have free will.
The angels do the will of the Father at all times. We, as human beings, are given free wills to exercise
as we like. We make choices as to how we will live out our lives while here on earth. We are allowed
to make choices each moment of our lives on earth.
The sum of all life's choices will ultimately lead us to the realm of the Father or to the realm of
darkness forever. By the trials and tribulations that we endure here on earth, we win eternal crowns for
ourselves that will only become evident to us once we are there to receive them. Yet these precious
little children had never been given that chance. They were never allowed to come to earth and win
crowns for themselves the way that we are. These children were snatched from their mother's wombs
before they were ever given this chance. This beautiful paradise contained all the souls of the aborted,
still-born, or children who died without ever knowing the difference between good and evil.
In this part of the Lord's revelation to me, there was a deep message of forgiveness. Jesus allowed
me to see my own little children who were in this marvelous place. They were so happy to see me and
I was crying tears of joy to be reunited with them again! I knew that there would be a huge empty
space in my life because of their absence. They would have enriched and blessed my life if they had
lived. I was the great loser. Abortion is a sin against the child, but every bit as much a sin against the
mother, also. We have no way of knowing how this unborn child could have influenced our life, had it
been allowed to live.
The abortion, that I would have would be due to a doctor's orders, but it was an abortion
nonetheless. The miscarriage was no fault of my own, but the spirit of that child must live forever. I
know because I saw their sweet faces in paradise! Jesus, my babies and myself were all joyous at this
reunion. His forgiveness was TOTAL! His understanding was TOTAL! His empathy was TOTAL! Not
for one second did I feel accused or judged by Him as this incredible scene was unfolding before my
spiritual eyes.
This part of my experience, I believe, has a message for women who have aborted or miscarried
babies. Society and the culture they live in told them they were aborting a blob or a fetus. Society
neglected to inform them that they were indeed murdering their own child! Now, after many years,
perhaps, they find themselves laden with tremendous guilt, and hopelessness in their souls. The guilt
may come many years later when they finally realize the sad truth and consequence of their actions.
Sooner or later they must come face to face with the honest realization that they did not allow their
child to be given life.
There is no sin, no matter how vile, that the Lord is not able to forgive. I must repeat and stress this
truth, over and over again, because this was the underlying message of the entire experience! This is
why He came to earth, to become an expiation for our sins! Let us never forget that He not only died,
but also suffered horrendous humiliation, for us, sinners. Therefore, if the Lord is able and willing to
forgive us, to the utmost, should we not also be willing to forgive ourselves? This is sometimes the
most difficult thing for us to do. Yet the Word tells us, that God is a God of mercy and compassion.
When Jesus walked the earth He healed many people by telling them that their sins had been
forgiven. When the people realized that their sins had been forgiven, it caused their bodies to be
healed. Knowing that God had forgiven their sins, allowed their bodies to heal immediately! Many
women, who are living lives steeped in pain and guilt, because of the sin of abortion, need to
understand this very important spiritual concept. On the other hand, by not accepting God's
forgiveness, they are openly rejecting God's love. This rejection injures God's heart.
This, rejection of God's forgiveness, can be compared to a beautiful gift which is rejected by the
person we give it to. Perhaps it was required that we exercise much effort, and love, on our part, in
order to give the gift. We were so excited and anxious to present this gift to our beloved, yet we feel
the deep pain of rejection when our beautiful gift is not appreciated. The person, whom we are giving
the gift to, does not realize the pain they have just caused us. They cause us intense pain by the mere
act of their rejection or indifference. They rejected, or were indifferent to, something that we put great
love into giving them. By rejecting our gift, they unknowingly were also rejecting us. This is how God
feels when we reject His love and forgiveness. Although, when we repent of our sins, He is ready and
willing, to forgive us. Both the Old and New Testaments are full of scripture giving evidence of God's
total forgiveness to sinners.
Therefore if God, Himself, forgives and forgets our sins, what then must we do? Is it right to live
our lives on earth, wallowing in our own guilt, after we have been forgiven? If we chose not to release
this guilt, it will always stand as a barrier between us, and our relationship with the Father. If we do
not accept His complete forgiveness, by forgiving ourselves ,we are rejecting His love, and denying
the power of His forgiveness towards us. The sin of abortion is a particularly horrendous sin. By
having an abortion, a mother kills her own child. There is no way to say this differently in order to
ease the shock. It is what it is...period. Once a woman realizes exactly what was done to her child, and
her body, the emotional pain is beyond words. Since as women, our highest of all callings is to be
mothers. By becoming a mother, a woman becomes a co-creator with the Awesome God of all
Creation. We are partners with Him in bringing a child to life, and raising this child to be pleasing to
Him. There is no career of greater importance, on earth, than that of giving life to a child and raising
this child as best we can!
Since an aborted child was never born, we would never enjoy the unique blessing they would have
been to us. Our lives will forever be lacking in the special influence this child was to have upon our
lives. Yes, it is a horrible travesty against God, His creation and ultimately ourselves. The sacred bond
between a mother and her child has been broken. What can compare to the love of a mother to her
child? If this sacred bond loses its sanctity, what then in life can offer us any sanctity? No tie or ties in
this world, can compare to the special bond between a mother and her child. Abortion destroys and
cheapens this priceless and precious bond! As condemning as this may all sound, there is still hope for
those of us who have been victims of abortion.
The good news is that...while there is life, there is hope! We still have the hope of confessing our
sin, and turning to God, in a spirit of full repentance. As soon as we take the initiative of turning
towards Him, then He will turn towards us. We must take the first step, because He has endowed us
with the free will to do so. God does not want us to be robots. He wants us to turn to Him by way of
our own free will. When we do turn to Him, He will then turn towards us. It does not matter that our
sin has removed us, to the farthest place, which we can possibly go from Him. From this far distant
place, He then turns towards us. He will then do everything in His power to shorten this distance
between us and Him. He is just waiting for us to take the first step towards Him.
We must realize that this is what is happening in God's realm as all scripture testifies to this fact.
Though our sins be as red as scarlet, He will make them white as snow. He will cast away our sins as
far as the east is from the west, never to remember them again. If He is then willing, and able to give
us this great gift of forgiveness, let us not reject Him by not accepting His gift to us. Let us accept this
priceless gift of forgiveness, and in turn also learn to forgive ourselves once and for all.
We must come to the Lord with our hearts open wide to accept His COMPLETE forgiveness. This
will heal our emotions, our lives, and our bodies. And best of all, we will then have the joy of knowing
that someday we will be united with our babies in heaven to live with them forever and ever!
I pray that all women around the world who, like myself, have become victims of the horrendous
sin and crime of abortion, please listen to this message. Let us come to the feet of Jesus...the only
place where we can and always will find COMPLETE and TOTAL forgiveness. The Lord has plans for
us, therefore let us freely accept His total gift of forgiveness, and live for Him with our hearts
brimming with thankfulness from this moment on.
"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for
calamity to give you a future and a hope. ‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I
will listen to you. ‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ‘I will be
found by you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the
nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will bring you
back to the place from where I sent you into exile." (Jeremiah 29:10-13)
CHAPTER ELEVEN: OUR REGRETS
The word 'regret' takes on a totally different meaning in the eternal realm. Regrets are among
the most intensely painful feelings that can overcome the soul in the next realm of existence. To make
matters worse, these regrets will come combined with feelings of shame and remorse. Our souls will
be naked before angelic beings which will be able to see our entire life on display. Every evil thought,
or even mere intentions which we have not repented of, will still need to be judged. We will feel the
pain we caused others, many times unknowingly.
"
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I
allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not,
I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in
me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me;
but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which
I would not, that I do.
Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in
me."(Romans 7:14-20)
When we have regrets in the next realm, the feeling is excruciatingly painful, because we will
not be able to return here to change anything or do anything differently. Many of us will give anything
to be allowed to return here, to live our lives all over again. While there is life, there is hope of a true
heart contrition, but once we leave this world everything changes drastically. There will be no more
opportunities to make amends or repent of any sins we may have committed against God, others, or
even ourselves. It will be too late by then.
It will be a horror for some souls, to realize that they could've had eternal life in heaven, had
they not chosen to turn their backs on God's love and forgiveness. Intense sorrow will overcome them
when they see others partaking of the free gift of salvation, which they had rejected. If they would've
known that this place of torment really existed...they certainly would have accepted the free gift of
salvation!
These souls, will witness the salvation, of other souls, who had the Blood of the Lamb, as their
covering. Each soul, will be able to see, how they had created their own destiny. Now, it would be too
late, although, they had been given opportunities to turn to God, while they lived on earth. Those who
turned against God, or rejected His mercy, and forgiveness, will face harsh repercussions. Some will
lament the fact that they had not listened to the humble servants of God, who had shared the gospel
with them, while they were on earth. How utterly regretful that they would have to suffer an eternity in
a horrible place, simply because, they had rejected the free 'sin offering' provided for them. It was
such a shame and totally unnecessary. If only they had just listened and believed? It would all have
been so easy to do! The price for their salvation had already been paid for in full, therefore, the loss of
their eternal souls could've been avoided.
That simple act of heart contrition and faith would have spared them this eternity in hell, that
they would now have to endure. The angel of death could not 'pass over' them. They had no blood
placed on the lintels of their doors(lives) to cover their sins. God had to condemn them, because He
could observe their sins. He could not ‘pass over’ them, because they had no blood covering, to shield
His eye from observing their sins.
They had no covering ,because they had not placed their trust upon the Blood of the Lamb, for
the atonement of their sins. The only difference between a saved soul, and a lost soul, is that a saved
soul has the Blood of the Lamb covering his sins. God does not observe his sins because the Blood of
the Lamb is covering his life. This does not mean that the saved soul does not have any sins...only that
God is not able to SEE his sins.
Passover is a perfect visual aid pointing to the redemptive grace found in the Blood of the
Messiah. The Egyptians were no more guilty or sinful than the ancient Israelites when the angel of
death killed the first born of each family in Egypt. King David is a perfect example of both the power
of human repentance and Divine forgiveness. David pleads with God to forgive his horrible sins of
adultery and murder in Psalm 51. This psalm is a testimony to the incredible mercy and compassion of
the God of Israel.
"Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not they Holy Spirit
from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach
transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee." (Psalm 51: 9-13)
Here, David realizes the depth of his horrible sins, and pleads with God to hide His face from,
and blot out his sins. He confesses his sins, and his heart is full of contrition. Then in verse 13 he
makes the statement 'then will I teach transgressors Your ways.' After David acknowledges his sin,
makes full contrition and accepts God’s forgiveness, then and only then, is he fully equipped to teach
‘transgressors’ (just as himself) God’s ways. He is making a very bold statement here. David is
saying, in other words, 'God, if You show yourself merciful and forgiving to me, then I shall teach
other transgressors of the Law of Your great compassion towards sinners.'
Again, in other words, David is saying, that since he has been so blessed by God’s great
forgiveness towards him, he will also teach other sinners, of God’s compassion. Had he not fallen
from grace, and needed of God’s forgiveness, David could not share that great grace of God with other
sinners.
To prove to David that he had been forgiven, the Lord chooses Solomon, the son born to
Bathsheba, to be David’s successor to the throne. David had other sons by his many wives but the
Word states that "the Lord loved Solomon." This is an astounding demonstration of God’s great
mercy. How truly incredible and mysterious are God's ways!
Here, we have the great King David, God’s anointed psalmist, who was selected and chosen by
God to be Israel’s king. After being so close to God’s heart for so long how could this psalmist
commit the double sins of adultery and murder? How can we ever compare to the great King David of
ancient Israel? How can this same King David stoop to such a level of moral and ethical degeneracy?
If this could happen to David, it can happen to anyone?
Psalm 51 remains as the testimony of God’s incredible mercy and compassion towards every
human being. Forgiveness comes only after we acknowledge our transgression, and repent of having
sinned. The Word states that God cannot turn away or despise a contrite and broken heart. Contrition
is so very important to God, because it tells Him, that we cannot live a righteous life without His help.
We, finally, are fully aware of our wretched spiritual state, although we had believed ourselves to be
righteous.
The prophet Nathan was sent by God to remind David of his great sin. David was living a self-
righteous life until Nathan was sent by God, Himself, to accuse David of the sins that had laid hidden
in his heart. This is why the greatest danger for the soul of man is not in drugs or immorality. The
greatest danger for the soul of man is found in living out his life with an attitude of self-righteousness.
When we think that we do not need God to save us, we are rejecting His great gift of salvation
to us. A certain spiritual pride comes over us when we feel we are sinless or self-righteous. Pride is a
concrete barrier between God and us. No human being can ever stand before Almighty God with any
type of pride in his heart. Whatever ‘thing’ which pretends to convince a person that they are
sufficiently capable of producing their own salvation, is pushing them closer towards eternal
damnation. Whatever does not reveal to a person the true wretched condition of their soul, is doing
them a great disservice.
The Blood of the Lamb was already provided for us...all of us! It was shed over 2,000 years
ago, to serve as our atoning grace. This precious Blood, will then serve as a perfect covering, which
will completely blot out our sins, from the gaze of our Creator. This principle of substitution has
absolutely nothing to do with us. This is the Divine method chosen for the forgiveness of sins. Again,
it is not that the soul does not sin...but that God does not SEE his sins! God is more desirous that we
should be saved, than we are desirous to be saved!
"Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him..."(Psalm 32:2)
No amount of perfect-sinless living can make atonement for the soul. Only blood can make
atonement for the soul of man. Here in lies the principle of substitution. The innocent gives his life for
the guilty. Jesus is the Lamb of God who gave His Blood to take away the sin of the ENTIRE world!
So, then, if this great grace, is for sinners, let us partake of it fully! Let us let this precious
Blood cover all of our sins, so that we need never face any regrets, in the eternal realm of the spirit!
May the Lord grant us wisdom to live lives pleasing to Him in these very difficult last days!
