Dr Pekka Abrahamsson works as a full professor of software engineering at Tampere University in Finland. He received his PhD in Software Engineering in 2002 from the University of Oulu. Before his current position, he served as a full professor at the University of Helsinki (Finland), Free University of Bozen Bolzano (Italy), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway) and the University of Jyväskylä (Finland). He also worked at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland as a research professor of software technologies. His research interests are in empirical software engineering, emerging software technologies and the ethics of artificial intelligence.
