Course aim
To give students knowledge, skills and understanding of advanced
electronics theories, practical applications and techniques.
Expected Course Outcomes
1. A fundamental understanding of the operation of semiconductor
devices.
2. A fundamental understanding of small signal and multistage
amplifiers.
3. A fundamental understanding of the uses for operational amplifiers.
4. A fundamental understanding of troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
5. A fundamental understanding of oscillators and the use of feedback in
electronic circuits.
6. A fundamental understanding of regulated power supplies and their
benefits.
