ANIMIKA KHANNA
• Born on 19th July 1971 in jodhpur
• Operates from her studio in Kolkata
• First Indian designer to have an
international label “Ana-Mika”
CAREER
• Started in the year 1998
• Invited to Pakistan in 2003
• Launched her international label in
2004
• Displayed her collection “The
Botanist” at the Wills Fashion week
spring/summer edition
• Participated in Paris Fashion Week
along wit Manish Arora in 2007 and in
2008 in the HDIL India Couture Week
presenting her signature coal shaped
dresses.
• Sonam Kapoor walked the ramp for
the first time and was wearing a
golden cowl shaped gown with
zardozi with a top adorned with
Mukesh work.
