PROGRAM
OBJECTIVES
1. Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and
attitudes in engaging in generalist
helping and planned change processes
for therapeutic, protective, preventive,
and transformative purposes.
2. Analyze critically the origin,
development, and purposes of social
PROGRAM work in the Philippines.
OBJECTIVES: 3. Apply knowledge of human behavior
and social environment with emphasis
on the person-in-situation dynamic for
social work assessment and
intervention.
4. Engage in social work practices that
promote diversity and difference in
client systems.
5. To develop among students an
appreciation for and consequently an
identification with the Social Work
Profession, its philosophy, principles,
goals, and values with the end view that
they will finally internalize a sense of
commitment to the total development of
PROGRAM man and the national development goals.
OBJECTIVES:
6. To provide the students with
opportunities that will help them attain
competence in problem-solving with
individuals and communities, bringing
needs and resources together,
interpersonal relationship skills,
communication, and documentation.

students through advisement programs
geared towards helping them build a
better self-concept and develop goods

PROGRAM

and ideals of the Social Work Profession
and continuously update themselves
through the faculty development
programs offered by the college and other
related entities.

needs of the students and the community
through serious efforts to evaluate,
review, modify, improve, or change the
PROGRAM social work curriculum.
OBJECTIVES:
10. To develop analytical awareness of
the Philippine reality from an exposure to
existing economic, political, social cultural
reality situations.

appreciation of their roles in the community
and provide them with opportunities that
will impart appropriate knowledge, values,
attitudes, and skills which will enable them
to perform their roles as such.
PROGRAM 12. To establish a whole working
OBJECTIVES: relationship with the administration, the
student service components for the college,
and the existing welfare agencies in the
community to develop a spirit of partnership
in providing varied opportunities and
services for the well-rounded development
of the student and also for meaningful
exposure to social problems.
