Introduction
• Tolerance stack-up analysis is a process used in mechanical
engineering to calculate the cumulative effect of individual
part tolerances on a final assembly's requirement, such as a
gap or interference.
• It helps engineers predict if parts will fit together correctly
and meet performance requirements by determining the
maximum and minimum possible variation in a dimension
• Variation‐Deviation from the specified value
