Today we are going to talk about Quiet places and talking
places. Expert writers need special places in order to get their
messages ready to share. What do you think a quiet place
would look or sound like? What do you think a talking place
would look and sound like.

between “Quiet Places” and “Talking Places” I
want you to draw a sign that shows your
quiet or talking place.
Building our word wall
We will be adding to our word wall throughout the summer. It will be used to help us with spelling
high frequency words. High frequency is a fancy phrase used when something is used a lot, in our
case that “something” is words and our word wall will help us spell them correctly. So it’s empty
now but by the end of the summer we should have a good arsenal of words to write our amazing
stories with.
