What is an Adjective?
Week Two An adjective is a word that describes a noun (a person, place, thing, or idea).
It gives us more information about the noun.

Examples:

● The red apple is juicy.


● She has a friendly dog.
● We saw a tall building.

In each sentence, the adjective tells us more about the noun:

● red describes the apple.


● friendly describes the dog.
● tall describes the building.
