Practicals for 1st Week
1. Grain size analysis of aggregates.
2. Consistency Limits and indices
3. Crushing value test of aggregates.
4. Abrasion value test of aggregates.
5. Impact value test of aggregates.
6. Shape test of aggregates.

(Go through ASTM and know ASTM for the


practicals)
One Hour Tests
In7th and 13th week.
Not open book.
Not a memory test but a test of
understanding the subject.
Pattern mainly consisting of short
questions and numerical with one odd
typical long question.
Assignments
These standards should be
followed:

◦ Font size 12
◦ Font type Times new Roman
◦ Top and bottom margin 1.0”
◦ Right and left 1.25”
◦ No files
◦ Hard Copy in class by due date and
time.
