Three Types of Array:

RECTANGULAR ARRAY
A rectangular array is a
pattern of objects
arranged in rows and
columns, similar to a
grid.
To create a rectangular array, follow these steps:
Type "ARRAY" in the command line and press Enter, or select
"Array" from the ribbon or toolbar.
Select the objects you want to array by clicking on them. Press
Enter when you have selected all the objects.
AutoCAD will prompt you to specify the type of array. Since
you want a rectangular array, type "R“.
AutoCAD will then prompt you to specify the number of rows
and columns for your array. Enter the desired values for rows
and columns, separated by a comma.
Next, AutoCAD will ask for the distance between rows and
columns. You can specify this distance by typing a value. If you
want the objects to be spaced evenly, you can simply press
Enter to use the default value of 1 unit.
POLAR ARRAY
A polar array is a method
of duplicating objects
around a center point in
a circular pattern.
To create a Polar array, follow these steps:
Click on the Circle icon on the Ribbon Panel. We can also
write Circle or C on the command line and Press Enter.
Specify the center point on the workspace or drawing area
to draw a small circle.
Specify the diameter for a first circle (example- 1) and
Press Enter.
Now, again select the Circle icon or type C on the
command line and specify a center point for a big circle
near the small circle.
Select the Polar Array from the drop-down list of the
rectangular array on the ribbon panel.
To create a Polar array, follow these steps:
Select the object(small circle) with the small square cursor
and Press Enter, as shown in the below image:
Now, specify the center to create the array.
The default polar array will be created,
as shown in the image:
PATH ARRAY
Path Array distributes
copies of objects along
a specified path, such
as a line, arc, or
polyline.
To create a Path array, follow these steps:
Draw a path which you want to array the objects.
Draw an object at the starting point of the path. (Ex.
