 5. PASS THE TIME =WHILE AWAY: to spend time (usually relaxing)
 Our flight was delayed on departure, so we passed the time playing cards.

CONFUSION

 6. BE ON THE WRONG TRACK: to pursue the wrong solution to a problem >< BE ON THE RIGHT

 The plumber thought he know the cause of the flooding, but he was on the wrong track.

 8. MIX UP: to confuse, to bewilder
