CBI-SC INTERFACE

ISO 9001:2008
CBI-SC INTERFACE
 Interface between CBI and SC is consisted
by safety communication network and this
networks is based on NS’s original protocol.

ISO 9001:2008
NS-100M LAN
BOUNDARY NODE
There is one Boundary Node in the network. CBI of depot is
selected to Boundary Node. Boundary Node transmits
Transmission Frame every 200ms. This node should exist
one at one loop network in order to turn the loop. If loop
network has failure, Boundary node is not necessary.
Because, if the loop is broken, the boundary node does not
need to turn the loop is eliminated. If Boundary Node is
failure, the network does normally without Boundary Node
becauseNS-100M LAN is no longer loop network.

ISO 9001:2008
NS-100M LAN
GENERAL NODE
General Node is all Nodes except Boundary Node. General
Node relays Transmission Frame received from the adjacent
node to the adjacent node on the opposite side. In case that
the adjacent node fails, relay processing does not work
because General node can not receive the transmission
frame from the adjacent node. If a transmission frame cannot
be received from an adjacent node within 200 ms, General
node generates a Transmission frame and transmits the
frame to the other adjacent [Link] this processing,
even if a node failure occurs in NS-100M LAN, the
transmission frame is transmitted.

ISO 9001:2008
NS-100M LAN
NS-100M LAN has two lines which are L Line
and R Line. L Line and R Line are duplex line as
redundancy network. L Line transmits the data at
left rotation. R Line transmits the data at right
rotation. Each equipment which called “ACEH” is
connected in each Node. Each ACEH transmits
the data by using NS-100M LAN. ACEH does
not recognize which one is a Boundary Node or
a General Node.
