ARTHROPODS-
INVERTEBRATES
• The name arthropod means ‘jointed
limbs’.
• They have a hard, external exoskeleton
called cuticle which cover their bodies.
• Their bodies are segmented.
• In most arthropods, the segments are
grouped together to form regions like
head, thorax and abdomen.
