MY DAILY
ROUTINE
IGS 0103
CONCEPT
• A daily routine is a set of actions or habits that you do
every day, usually at the same time. It's a structured
way to organize your day, from the moment you wake
up to the moment you go to sleep.
• Think of it as a personal schedule that helps you
manage your time and energy. It can include simple
things like brushing your teeth and eating breakfast,
as well as more complex tasks like working on a
project, exercising, or spending time on a hobby.
Why we have a routine?
• Helps me stay organized and productive every day.
• Reduces stress by providing a clear plan.
• Helps me find a good balance between work and
personal life.
• Makes sure I have time for things I enjoy and for the
people I love.
Waking Up
• The alarm goes off at 6:00 AM.
• We get up, stretch, and open the window to let in the
light.
• We drink a glass of water to get my body going.
• I spend a few minutes meditating to clear my mind for
the day.
Breakfast and Preparation
• I prepare a healthy breakfast, like oatmeal with
berries or scrambled eggs.
• I take a quick shower and get dressed for the
day.
• I quickly check my calendar and to-do list to
review my plan for the day.
Peak Productivity
• I start my work or studies. This is when I focus on my
most important tasks.
• I take a short break every couple of hours to stand up
and move around a bit.
• I take my lunch break around 1:00 PM and try to eat
away from my desk to fully disconnect.
Afternoon Tasks
• I resume my work, focusing on tasks like answering emails or
attending meetings.
• Before the day ends, I review my progress and organize my
workspace.
• I make sure I've completed all my tasks and plan for the next morning.
Unwinding
• I transition from work mode to my personal time.
• I'll shut down my laptop and put my work phone
away.
• I usually go to the gym or go for a run. This is my
time to release stress.
• I spend time with my family or friends.
Personal Time
• I prepare or have dinner with my family.
• I dedicate time to my hobbies, like reading or
painting.
• I wind down by watching a movie or just relaxing
with a cup of tea.
Bedtime
• I put away all screens (phone, computer, TV) to
help my mind relax.
• I get ready for bed, making sure everything is
prepared for the next day.
• I go to bed around 11:00 PM, aiming for at least
7 hours of quality sleep.
