What you may not know: Biology
If I want to study Biology at University, I also need to obtain Higher
Chemistry.
If I want to be a doctor, vet or dentist I need to study 3 sciences, 2
MUST be Biology and Chemistry (mathematics is classed as a science)
Your Options
1. Pick an individual science subject: pick a subject you are interested
in. You will complete this subject at the National 4 or National 5 level at
the end of 4th year.
2. Pick an NPA in Science and Health. This is equal to a National 4 level.
This has no external exam. You will learn about all the sciences and get
involved in the Prince’s Trust in 4th year.
Last year the Princess trust group was the best in Scotland and creating
a new start up enterprise. They all got to go to London for the awards
ceremony.
Your Teacher
I will recommend either 1 or 2 science subject.
I will recommend you for the NPA in science.
You will all receive a piece of paper. I want you to
write down which science subject/subjects you would
like to do. Use your S2 test to help you.
