is truly unique

• Japan has four major islands: Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu,
Shikoku.
• Japan is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire — prone to
earthquakes and volcanoes.
• Beautiful natural scenery: Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms, hot
springs.
• Climate: Ranges from snowy winters in the north to
subtropical weather in the south.
• Famous for Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms, and hot springs.
PEOPLE AND SOCIETY
