 Research Design
 The researcher will employ the quantitative method and use an
experimental design with an experimental group and a control group
to determine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) tutors have affected
student performance in solving combinations among grade 10
students at Muzon High School.
 The experimental quantitative research design utilizes the scientific
approach. It establishes procedures that allow the researcher to test a
hypothesis and to systematically and scientifically study causal
relationships among variables (Grand Canyon University, 2023).

 Population and Sample
 Purposive research sampling is a type of non-probability approach
in which the researcher chooses a sample (person, cases, or events)
based on their assessment that it would fit the study’s objectives
([Link], 2024).
 As for population, there are twenty-two (22) Grade 10 sections in
Muzon High School. Using purposive sampling, we only pick 2
sections, namely Grade 10-Paterno as an experimental group and
Grade 10-Burgos as a controlled group.

 Data Gathering Procedure
Request Preparation: A letter will be sent for approval from the
DepEd Division Office and the principal of Muzon High School.
Validation: Survey forms and questionnaires will be validated by
three mathematics professors from Bulacan State University.
Distribution: Instruments will be administered to Grade 10 – Paterno
and Grade 10 – Burgos students.
Collection: Completed test will be retrieved immediately to ensure
accuracy and high response rates.
Analysis: The outcomes will be statistically analyzed and
interpreted.
