Introduction
Marginalization is a social
process in which specific
members of society are given
less importance and their needs
are ignored, in other words they
are excluded with respect to
some rights, opportunities.
Definition
According to Merriam-Wedster,
“To put or keep (someone) in a
powerless or unimportant
position within a society or
group”.
Marginalization of Gender
When a community or society
discriminate or the basis of
gender, its refers to gender in
equality. When one gender’s
needs are ignored or given less
important or preferences it is
marginalized environment with
gender in equality. Generally in
this social process girls are
ignored, less preferred and
excluded from general social
environment. Such learning
environment carefully observe
the literacy rate of Indian and
different with respect of gender.

Conclusion
In India the women, children, scheduled
caste and scheduled tribes, person with
disabilities, migrants and aged are
regarded as marginalized or vulnerable
groups. These people are socially,
economically, politically and legally
ignored and excluded in Indian society.
