The study titled "The Study of Teaching Effective Strategies on Students'

Math Achievements" by Mohammad-Hassan Behzadi, Farhad Hosseinzadeh Lotfi, and

Nasrin Mahboudi examines the impact of teaching study strategies on students' math

learning and academic progress. The research compares the effectiveness of teaching

with an emphasis on study strategies versus the traditional method in enhancing the

learning of mathematical concepts. The study, conducted using a quasi-experimental

method with 17 guidance schools in grade 3 as the sample, finds that students who

were taught with an emphasis on study skills had better math performance and higher

academic achievement. The research highlights the importance of teaching reading

strategies, including cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies, to facilitate the

mathematical learning process.
