OPERATING SYSTEM IN SMARTPHONE
Operating system:- An operating system is the core software that
manages the computer/smartphone. It is a system software that acts as
an interface between user and the device. It is the main interface which
connects the commands through hardware to software of device to get
desired result. It manages hardware resources and provides services for
computer/smartphones programs, enabling them to function effectively.

Ex: Android,ios,Linux, etc


Functions of operating system:

1. It manages the process of smartphone by initiating and terminating


the program.
2. It manages the input/outputs, memory,files, etc.
3. It also restrict the access of data based on user permissions.
4. It provides an interface to user.
5. It also detects the error and aware the user about it.
6. It maintains the coordination between user and other applications.
Android Operating system

1. It is most popular operating system in world, providing facilities in


phones,Tv, tablets, etc
2. It is open source, allowing developer to customize it for various
devices.

1. Extensively use in apple products like iPhone,ipad,etc.


2. It is closed to apple’s devices only and easy to integrate with other
apple's products.
3. It provides high data security, performance, and offer transparency.
4. It provides application from app store.
5. It gives regular updates.
6. Offers seamless experience to users.
7. It's cost make it less accessible.
