2nd Annual Invisible Children Soccer Tournament
Thursday, April 19th from 4-8pm no soccer experience is necessary 7 members per team -at least 2 must be girls. Each team will get to represent a country of their choosing. Selection of countries is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Games will be played on half-size fields and you are guaranteed at least two games! registration -- $35 per team, or $5 per person. Teams register and pay at lunch from Thursday April 12th- Wednesday 18th. Questions - see Mrs. Badillo in room 1317.

The tennis team completed a sweep of the district tournament by winning all 6 team titles. The Varsity, JV, and Freshmen in both boys and girls were successful in defending their titles from last year.

CHS TRACK NEWS
Niki Barrow broke the school record in the 1600 meters while winning gold and also placed 1st in the 3200 meters. DeMarcus Cobb finished 1st in the 110 meter hurdles, 2nd in the long jump, and 5th in the 300 intermediate hurdles. Trevor Moore finished 1st in the 100 meters and 3rd in the long jump. Alhajie Dumbuya finished 4th in the 100 meters and 5th in the 200 meters.

Stillwell Pan finished 4th in 110 meter hurdles. Erica Rudoff and Christine Tran finished 4th and 5th in pole vault. Hannah Patterson finished 4th in both 1600 and 3200 meters The 4 by 100 relay team of Saqlain Saleem, Trevor Moore, DeMarcus Cobb, and Alhajie Dumbuya had 4th place finish.
LaDavia Pope finished 2nd in 400 meters.

Overall the boys team was 4th out of 15 boys teams and the gils 6h overall out of 15 teams. The district track meet is in 2 weeks.
