Gantry Crane
A gantry crane is a crane built atop a gantry, which is a structure used to straddle an object or workspace. They can range from enormous
"full" gantry cranes, capable of lifting some of the heaviest loads in the world, to small shop cranes, used for tasks such as lifting automobile
engines out of vehicles. They are also called portal cranes, the "portal" being the empty space straddled by the gantry.
Container
Most commonly, containers are around 10-feet, 20-feet, or 40-feet long, each at around 8 feet wide. The height of each shipping container varies between standard height (8 feet 6
inches) and "high cube" (9 feet 6 inches), which are often used to increase storage space or create better air circulation.
Types of containers
1. Dry storage container
2. Flat rack container
3. Open top container
4. Open side storage container
5. Refrigerated ISO containers
6. ISO Tanks
7. Half height containers
8. Special purpose containers
Types Of Cargo
Warehouse
Goods in the process of shipping need safe and secure storage to protect them from the elements of nature, damage and
destruction due to careless handling, pilferage, etc.
In business, goods require storage as they wait for the customer. Warehouses are buildings and related infrastructure that are used
for the storage of goods.
Warehouses have the facilities for receiving goods, stacking or storing them safely, and picking these goods when it is time to ship
them to a customer or a new location.
Drainage
Container terminals and ports are involved in the transport and transhipment of goods and materials of many kinds. In 2019, almost
65 percent of global container throughput in ports was concentrated in Asia – and the trend is rising. As a result, many Asian
maritime nations have launched extensive port construction and development programmes. As the environment at container
terminals and ports is characterised by the highest loads and extreme conditions, only the most stable, robust and resistant drainage
systems should be used.

High mast
High mast lighting is a type of site light fixture that is commonly used to illuminate large areas from a very high mounting height for
storage, transportation, and pedestrian use and safety. High mast fixtures are typically mounted on poles 40 feet to 150 feet tall, with
four to 16 fixtures mounted on each pole. This type of outdoor lighting is often used by municipalities, ports, municipal authorities, and
in parking lots of large venues such as stadiums and sports facilities.
