Arduino RC Car: Project
Overview
This project features an Arduino-controlled remote control car.
It uses wireless technology for seamless remote operation.
by Aakarshan
Key Components Used
Arduino Uno R3
The main controller managing all operations and commands.
L298N Motor Driver
Controls speed and direction of the DC motors efficiently.
HC-05 Bluetooth Module
Enables wireless communication between car and smartphone.
Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04
Detects obstacles to aid in collision avoidance.
Working Principle: Hardware Setup
Assembly Steps Power Setup
• Mount chassis, wheels, and motors securely. Use a battery pack supplying 7-12V, regulated for Arduino.
• Connect motors to L298N driver board.
Ensure motor driver shares common ground with Arduino.
• Place ultrasonic sensor at front for obstacle sensing.
• Wire Bluetooth module to Arduino serial pins.
Software
Implementation: Arduino
CodeSetup()
Initialize pins, sensors, and communication protocols.
Loop()
Listen for Bluetooth commands and process sensor data.
Motor Control
Adjust motor speed and direction via L298N commands.
Obstacle Handling
Use ultrasonic readings to stop or avoid obstacles.
