Introduction to Quantum Computing Basics

Quantum computing utilizes the principles of quantum mechanics to process information using quantum bits (qubits), which can represent multiple states simultaneously. This technology is expected to revolutionize various fields such as cryptography, optimization, and drug discovery by solving complex problems that classical computers cannot. The unique capabilities of quantum computers, including superposition and entanglement, enable them to perform calculations at exponentially faster rates.

Introduction to Quantum Computing

 What is Quantum Computing ?

Quantum computing is an advanced area of computation
harnesses the principles of quantum mechanics to process

information . Unlike classical computers, which use bits as

the smallest unit of information (representing either 0 or 1 ),
quantum computers use quantum bits, or quits ,which can
represent both 0 and 1 simultaneously due to a property
called superposition. The capability, along with
entanglement and quantum interference, allows quantum
computers to perform certain calculations exponentially
faster than classical computers

 Why Quantum Computing?
Quantum Computing is poised to revolutionize technology by solving
complex problems beyond the reach of classical computers. Unlike
traditional bits, qbits can exsit in multiple states simultaneously, allowing
quantum computers to perform massive parallel [Link]
potential makes quantum computing transformative for fields like
cryptography (by cracking ecisting encryption>optimixzation (for
logistics and finance),and drug discovery (through molecular
simulation).
