• Digitizing images involves converting physical photographs, documents, artworks, or any other
visual content into digital formats. This process preserves and allows easy access to these visuals on
digital devices, making it possible to share, store, and manipulate them electronically.

• 1. Scanning:
• Using a scanner is one of the most common methods to digitize images. Scanners are devices that
use light sensors to capture the details of a physical image and convert it into a digital file. Place the
image on the scanner bed, choose the appropriate settings (such as resolution and file format), and
scan the image. Scanners can vary in quality and features, so choose one that suits your needs.

• 2. Digital Cameras:
• If you have a good-quality digital camera or even a smartphone with a high-resolution camera, you
can photograph the physical image. Ensure you have proper lighting and focus to capture the details

• 3. Document Scanning Apps:
• There are various mobile apps available for both iOS and Android devices that turn your smartphone
into a portable scanner. These apps can automatically crop, enhance, and adjust the captured images

• 4. Flatbed Scanners:
• Flatbed scanners are suitable for digitizing photographs, documents, and smaller artworks. They
