the cold, and you don’t have
gloves, rub your hands
together to warm yourself up!
WRITING ACTIVITY
You will write a short story about a family
barbeque or camping trip. This can be a
real experience, or something you have
seen or heard about.
Write about what you saw and what
things were like while you were there.
Your story should include a fire and at
least 2 examples of how the characters
in the story use heat.

What do they have in common?
They all put off light through
electricity.

Light is energy that lets you see.
