Chapter 1 review
The Writer recalls on event that happen when he was 12 years old that Made who he is
now. A Call from Rahim Khan rang on Amirs Phone. It Was Rahim Khan telling him To
come to Pakistan to see him. The thought of that shook Amir Lith his nostalgic memory,
with Hassan, Baba, Ali end Kabul itself.
Chapter 2 review
• Amir explains his childhood with Hassan in Kabul, where they climbed trees together
and pranking their neighbors. This chapter tells us Amir lost his mother at birth and
Hassan mother ran away after giving birth to Hassan. So in this chapter it tells us that
Amir and Hassan had a strong bond and a bit of the same childhood.
Chapter 3 review
• This chapter tell us about Amir's relationship with his father. Amir feels like Baba hates
him as he Amir thinks he isn't the son Baba dreamed of having as Amir wasn't like him,
Amir also takes Baba hates him as Amir was the reason his mother died. This chapter
makes us understand Amir's feelings with his relationship with his father.
Chapter 4 review
• In chapter 4 it tells us about two young men driving under the influence accidentally
kill Ali’s parents and Amir’s grandfather see's Ali and adopts the orphaned Ali, and Ali
grows up alongside Baba so despite their closeness, Baba never refers to Ali as his
friend. Amir and Hassan share childhood adventures. It tells us Amir was reading
Hassan a story he made his own and Hassan liked it so much it gave Amir motivation to
be a writer. This chapter tells us why Amir became a writer and it was because of his
friend Hassan.
Chapter 5 review
• In chapter 5 Amir and Hassan meet Asseff. We learn that Asseff is a bully that bully kids
who come in him and his gang way. We see Amir can't defend himself and Hassan
would help him by defending him and himself with a slingshot. We learn how good of a
friend Hassan is to Amir and how strong their friendship is.
