The RHCSA (EX200) exam is a practical, hands-


on exam provided by Red Hat to assess the skills
and knowledge of system administrators.

 Duration: The exam typically lasts for 2.5 to 3


hours.
 Format: It is a hands-on, performance-based
exam where you work on live systems to
perform real-world tasks.
 Max. Marks: 300
 Passing Score: 70% (Min. 210/300)

Exam Topics (Syllabus): The exam covers a range of


topics related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux system
administration.

1. Understand and use essential tools:


• Access a shell prompt and issue commands.
• Use input-output redirection (>, >>, |, 2>, etc.)
• Use grep and regular expressions to analyse text.
• Access remote systems using SSH.
• Log in and switch users in multiuser targets.
• Archive, compress, unpack, and un-compress files.
• Create and edit text files.
• Create, delete, copy, and move files and directories.
