Where did it come from for her?

As a young girl, she grew up on Lake Huron and had


access to clean water, but when she learned that due to
the expansion of pipelines, others were not so fortunate,
it made her cry and from then on, she started advocating
for the right to clean water.
She was only 8 years old then.
She learned from her aunt, Madamin, who also worked
to clean water in Canada.
About her career

• In 2015, she took part in a climate


conference for children in Sweden
• In 2016 she met the prime
minister, Justin Trudeau
• In 2017 she was nominated for
the Children's International Peace

• In 2018, Peltier traveled to the UN
General Assembly in New York

Her missions
• One of Peltier's major actions includes speaking at the
United Nations, where she has raised global awareness
about the importance of protecting water. She has used
her platform to demand that governments take stronger
actions to safeguard water bodies, especially in
Indigenous territories affected by pollution and
environmental degradation.
