PT Rollno:11672346637. Class: 6 th
Subject: Mathematics Period: 3rd

Topic: Fractions and Their Types

Time Duration: 30 minutes

Objectives:
1. To help students understand the concept of fractions.
2. To classify and differentiate between various types of fractions.
3. To enhance problem-solving skills by applying fraction operations.

Step 1: Introduction and Concept Building

The teacher introduces the concept of fractions using visual aids like fraction bars or pie charts.
Definition: A fraction represents a part of a whole and is expressed as a/b, where:
a = numerator (part taken)
b = denominator (total parts)

Step 2: Exploration and Purpose

The teacher explains the types of fractions:
Proper Fraction: Numerator < Denominator (e.g., ¾)
Improper Fraction: Numerator ≥ Denominator (e.g., 5/4)
Mixed Fraction: Combination of a whole number and a fraction (e.g., 1 ½)
Step 3: Planning and Research

Students will:
Collect real-life examples of fractions (e.g., recipes, measurements).
Research fraction properties using textbooks or the internet.

Step 4: Execution of Project

Students will create a visual representation of their chosen fraction type, including examples and
illustrations.
Step 5: Evaluation and Judging

Total marks: 50

Achievement of objectives: 30 marks

Accuracy and correctness: 10 marks

Timely submission: 10 marks

Step 6: Presentation and Feedback

Students present their projects, and the teacher provides feedback on their explanations and
creativity.
Lesson Plan 3

PT Rollno: 11672346637 Class: 7th

Subject: Mathematics

Period: 2nd

Topic: Perimeter and Area of Recta

Time Duration: 30 minutes

Objectives:
1. To help students understand the concepts of perimeter and area.
2. To enable students to apply formulas to calculate perimeter and area.
3. To enhance problem-solving and analytical skills.

Step 1: Introduction and Concept Building

The teacher introduces the concept by showing real-life examples
(e.g., a classroom floor, a garden).
Perimeter: The distance around a shape.
Area: The amount of space covered by the shape.

Step 2: Exploration and Purpose

The teacher provides sample problems and explains the step-by-step process of calculating the area an
Students will:
Select either a rectangle or square for their project.
Step 3: Planning and Research

Students will:

Gather data on real-life rectangular and square objects.

Calculate their perimeter and area using appropriate formulas.

Step 4: Execution of Project

Students 1: Providing Suitable Situation

The pupil teacher create a project showing:

The dimensions of their chosen shape.

The perimeter and area calculations with labeled diagrams.

Step 5: Evaluation and Judging (5 min)

Total marks: 50

Achievement of objectives: 30 marks

Accuracy and correctness: 10 marks

Timely submission: 10 marks

Step 6: Presentation and Feedback

Students present their projects, and the teacher provides feedback on the accuracy of their
calculations and creativity.
