Introduction
• Nowaday’s many industries are using robots due to their high level of performance
and reliability and which is a great help for human beings.

• The obstacle avoidance robotics is used for detecting obstacles and avoiding the
collision. This is an autonomous robot. The design of the obstacle avoidance robot
requires the integration of many sensors according to their [Link] detection
is the primary requirement of this autonomous robot.

• The robot gets the information from the surrounding area through mounted sensors
on the robot. The ultrasonic sensor is most suitable for obstacle detection and it is
of low cost and has a high ranging capability.
Problem definition of your work
Design and develop a robotic car that can autonomously navigate in its
environment by detecting obstacles in its path and avoiding collisions.
The car should be able to:
1. Sense obstacles within a specified range
2. Process real-time data from these sensors to make decisions about changing
its direction or stopping.
3. Avoid obstacles by steering around them or taking an alternative path to
continue forward movement.
4. Operate in real-time with minimum delay to avoid accidents or collisions.
5. Voice Command Functionality: The car should respond to predefined voice
commands such as:
6. Start : Begin autonomous movement.
7. Stop : Halt the car immediately.
8. Turn left / Turn right : Change direction.
Expected Outcome
The expected outcomes of this project are:

 Effective Obstacle Avoidance - The car will ‘detect obstacles’ in its path using sensors and will

avoid them by turning left, right, or stopping, depending on the scenario.

- It should navigate around stationary as well as moving obstacles effectively, without collisions.

 Accuracy in Sensor Detection - The Ultrasonic sensors will provide accurate distance measurements,

ensuring that the car can detect obstacles ‘at appropriate distances’ and react accordingly.

 Enhanced Safety and Reliability - The robo car will maintain a ‘safe distance’ from obstacles and

prevent collisions, ensuring ‘reliable operation’ without failure.
