Individual polygons are named according to the number of sides,
combining a Greek-derived numerical prefix with the suffix -gon, e.g.
pentagon, dodecagon.

Polygons with sides are named in the same way but have the suffix –

You can identify the name of polygons beyond sides using the method below:
