Objectives
Presentations are communication
tools that can be used as
demonstrations, lectures,
speeches, reports, and more. It is
• Recap Op-amp basics. mostly presented before an
audience.

• Define Op-amp gain, the importance of feedback and golden rules.

• Inverting Configuration circuit analysis.

• Applications of Inverting Configuration.

Operational Amplifier is a very High Gain,
Direct coupled, differential amplifier with a
single-endedd output .

What is
Op-Amp ?
Need for Feedback
The open loop gain of an Op-amp can be reduced
using a technique called feedback.
Op-Amp “Golden Rules”
• When an op-amp is configured in any negative-feedback
arrangement, it will obey the following two rules:

–The op-amp output will maintain the voltage

difference between the two inputs zero

–The inputs to the op-amp draw or source no current

(true whether negative feedback or not)

Methodology
 Application of Negative Feedback

 Use of Golden Rules

 Continuing with Kirchhoff's circuit laws
