As the name suggests, it is
descriptive, taken from the word
describe. The definition of describe
quoted from the Macmillan
Dictionary is to give details about
what someone or something is like.
Purpose of
Descriptive Text
The purpose of writing a
descriptive text is to describe
and reveal a particular
person, place, or thing.
Characteristics of
Descriptive Text
Simple Nouns and Noun

When describing something,

In this section, the object must be
described in as much detail as possible
so that the characteristics of the
object can be clearly depicted in the
reader's mind.
Anthony Sinisuka Ginting
Anthony Sinisuka Ginting is a men's singles
badminton player, who comes from SGS PLN
Bandung club, Indonesia. He started his career
as an accomplished badminton player since he
was in elementary school and won the MILO
School Competition in the elementary boys'
singles category in 2008.
