 INITIAL PHASE
Vishwakarma Government
Engineering College organized an
Orientation program for 1 st -year
students on 9/09/2022. We were
warmly welcomed by VGEC. The
program started with singing
Prathana. They Informed us about the
Vision and Mission of VGEC. And told
us many things about the college and
our branch faculty. They showed us
the placement record of the previous
year

After that our Respected Principal sir

delivered a motivational Speech.

 Our department Professors
Informed us about student
section support, central
facilities, campus facilities,
and the central library. We
also got to know about the
college experience of alumni.
Some professors and college
seniors told us about
SSIP/Ecell, scholarships,
training and placement cell,
NCC/NSS activities, and
achievements of the institute.

Our professors told us how to

successfully study and complete
these four years. We also had a
virtual tour of the campus and
department. The atmosphere of
the campus felt very good.

 UNIVERSAL HUMAN VALUES
VGEC has organized a session called
Universal Human Values. This session was
taken by Respected ‘Dr. Surendra Pathak’.
He gave us very precious information
about our Human values. How to behave
in society. He taught us about Relation
between human and nature, Our
responsibilities for nature. We learned
about how to be happy and a satisfied
human being. Got knowledge about our
ethics, values and moral character etc.

 We learned how to maintain harmony with

nature and about their solutions. He told us
about importance of Relationships in our life
and to maintain good relationship values like
LOVE, TRUST, RESPECT, GRATITUDE,
THANKFULNESS and many more. We learnt
how to become an empathetic person. Dr.
Surendra Pathak sir taught us various values
that are very important in human life like
‘Tamo guna’, ‘Rajo guna’, ‘Sattva guna’.

The ‘Universal Human Value’ Session was

one of the best sessions in the induction
program. The experts shared their valuable
experience and knowledge with us

 PROFICIENCY MODULE
I realized that from day 1 they understood
us because they knew that our English is
weak. Professor first explained to us the
importance of English in our engineering life.
Professor also explained to us that a small
mistake in English changes the meaning of
it. We were taught about vocabulary and
from this test we know where we needed to
improve out vocabulary. From this lecture I
improve my speaking skills in English & they
also taught some grammatically functions.

In this lecture, Professor gives presentations

on topics which very important in our life
like education, Satsang discipline, Sanskar,
and Health. The reason behind the
assignment was that we searched & learned
about these topics

 LITEARY
The first professor taught us about digital literacy and
how digital literacy helps us to improve our knowledge.
Engineering is based on Equations, Mathematics,
Formulas & Laws. Without all of this engineering is
nothing. Almost all the branches have mathematics. In
this induction program, they have placed more load on
basic mathematics. They taught us about Vedic maths.
They told about Vedas that it helps a person to solve
the mathematical problem much faster. It creates
interest in mathematics. It is a magical tool to reduce
scratch work and finger continue and improve mental
calculation. They taught us how maths is useful in daily
life activities. They told us about “Shakuntala Devi”.
She also known as the “Human Computer”. She was an
Indian mathematician. She was very good at Vedic
maths that everywhere she went her talent amaze
everyone

 VIRTUAL ACTIVITY
The intention of Virtual activity session is to keep
the mental and physical health good. We learnt
topic like yoga, meditation, selfdiscipline etc. Got
knowledge about topics like Power of habits, how
to control mind, spirituality, Power of habits and
many more. We also learned about ‘Bhagavat
Geeta’. The advantages of reading Bhagavat
Geeta. We also joined a club named ‘Vaidik Youth
club’. This club is about how to live a spiritual life.
How spirituality gives us self-control

The experts gave us knowledge about great

personalities like ‘Swami Prabhupada’. They also
taught us how to live a healthy life with a touch of
spirituality. In Some of lectures we learned about
communication skills. And tips about how to
improve them.

 CREATIVE ARTS
“Creative Arts” This session was my favorite session during the
Induction Program. We did a few cultural activities like playing
‘Garba’, Learning about Mandala arts, etc.

There was a drawing competition in the Creative Arts

session. All the students were provided blank paper
sheets and they have to make a sketch regarding the
topic. This competition was organized by our seniors. We
were given the topic “GREEN ENERGY, CLEAN ENERGY”.
All the students made drawing about the topic, I also
made a Drawing.
We played various games on our campus Like Cricket,
Volleyball, Kho-Kho,
Kabaddi, and many more. This game session were
conducted by our seniors. It
was very Good and refreshing. I enjoyed playing cricket a
lot.

 INNOVATION
• Moving forward in every field should do something
new that makes the difficult thing easier and that is
innovation. Human beings have made so much
progress because of innovation. Those types of
things the professor educated us. They first
explained us about what is innovation, difference
between innpvation and saw some ancient time’s
innovation Professor showed us some useful
innovations and I got inspiration by them. Professor
told us some useful innovations and I got inspiration
by them. Professor told us about a new scheme that
the government pays for innovations. Professor
explained us about hackathin & many more contests

 ENDING PHASE
In my point of view, this program means staying physically and mentally healthy, exploring
innovation to move the country forward, basic maths, the nature of human beings as well
as to avoid stress under the pressure of work, emphasizing on learning and speaking
English; these are the main intense of induction programme. The strengthened us
physically & mentally. In 8 days of this program, as an engineer student understood how
to behave commercially & socially
