• Process of rapid economical, cultural, and


institutional integration among different
states/countries
• Makes the world more accessible to everyone
• Unified countries can now have free trading,
investment agreements and capital flow, sharing of
advance technologies, and pressures for
assimilation towards international standards
Types of Globalization

1. Political – refers to diplomatic negotiations between nation-


states which includes standardization in global rules in
around trade, criminality, and the rule of law
2. Social – refers to integration of societies, much closer with
cultural globalization however, it focuses on the movement
of people
3. Economic – refers to the ways corporations do business as
multinational organizations nowadays
4. Technological - refers to the spread of technology around
the world
Types of Globalization

5. Financial - refers to the ease at which money can be


spread around the world

7. Ecological - refers to the idea that the world needs to be
considered one interconnected ecosystem
8. Geographical - refers to the idea that the world is no
longer seen as groups of distinct nations as much as it once
was.
