What is it?

An interview is a dialogue between two or more people in which

questions are asked to obtain information or opinions on a specific
topic. They are also a qualitative research method that focuses on the
personal experience of the person being interviewed, and are more
effective than questionnaires because they allow us to obtain more
complete and in-depth information, and clarify doubts during the
process.

Interviews can also be used for various purposes, such as: research,
topics of interest, personnel selection, scientific dissemination.
What is it about?
A job interview is about:
"Evaluating and selecting candidates"

for a specific position in a company or

organization, through a dialogue between the
candidate and employer, to determine:

- Suitability for the role

- Skills and competencies
- Work experience and education
- Goals and motivations
- Personality and cultural fit
- Ability to perform responsibilities

Primary objective:
Finding the most suitable candidate for the
position and company.
What is it for?
The purpose of a job interview is
to evaluate if a candidate's skills,
experience, and personality align
with a role and the company’s
values. It allows employers to
assess communication skills,
problem-solving abilities, and
cultural fit while giving candidates
a chance to learn about the
company and ask questions.
Interviews ultimately help
determine if there’s a mutual fit,
increasing the likelihood of long-
term success in the role.
