UNIT 3 HUMILITY

INTRODUCTION
Humility is the opposite of pride. Pride
can be described as an attitude of "I will"
or "Me first!" Pride means being self-
centered that is the heart of sin. A proud
person is not content with positions or
possessions. A proud person wants to
have more than anyone else. Pride is also
believing you are better than anybody
else.
On the contrary, humility is a
difficult word to define. But when
compared to pride, the meaning
becomes clearer A humble
person realizes that all his
abilities and possessions are
God's gift Humility is sho the
willingness to admit that
someone could be much better
ACTIVITY!
ROCK, SCISSOR, PAPER, BOOM!
There will be five representatives from each
of the two sides of the classroom. They will
form a line and play the rock, paper scissor,
shoot. And with a twist, the person who will
win the round will choose which tool he/she
will use. The person who chose the helmet
will cover their own head and the one who
picked the bottle will hit the other person
with it.
ACTIVITY!
ROCK, SCISSOR, PAPER, BOOM!
The winning team will decide whether
they will accept the plus 5 for the
application activity, and the losing team
will have a minus 5, OR they will just
triumph their win with no additional
points for the activity.

1. Why did you choose to hit your opponent with a
bottle?
Why did you choose to cover your head
instead?

Always show compassion.

A little girl, taken from her home could have


been angry and bitter toward her captors.
Instead she shared God’s love and truth of
healing power, possibly saving her master’s
life.

Don’t have unrealistic expectations.

Naaman expected the prophet to wave his


hands over him and make him clean, but
Elisha didn’t even come out and greet him.
It angered Naaman.

Naaman felt disrespected. “Didn’t Elisha


know who he was?”
