presentation of literature and studies that are related to the
current research.
RRL is essential to gain better understanding of your study focus. It
will also help you examine research gaps.
RRL may also serve as your guide (pattern) in doing your research.

Sufficient (not too few, not too many) – 10 local
literatures and 5 foreign literatures

How to write RRL?
1. Decide on the themes. – based on your title, research
problems and variables
2. Read and evaluate literature to be included.
3. Write the organized and paraphrased literatures.
ALWAYS paraphrase! – avoid plagiarism.
4. Use transition words.
Examples: however, and, but, furthermore, likewise,
moreover.
5. Recheck the contents and make adjustments. – ipabasa
