CONSTRUCTION PROCESS OF COLUMN :
A column is a verticle structural element designed to
primarily support load in compression.
Clearing and setting up safety measures.
Marking column position on ground.
Installation of temporary formwork , made of wood .
Placement of steel reinforcement bars for tensile
strength.
Pouring of concrete.
Compaction using vibrating equipment to remove air
voids.
Carefully removing of formwork to prevent damage.
Finishing as per architectural requirements.

CHECKLIST FOR COLUMN:
Size as per drawing .
Dimensions as per drawing.
The quality of shuttering before placing .
Applying deshuttering oil to plywood
shuttering.
Sufficient marking level up to which
concreting to be done.
Quality of materials of concrete.
Lapping should be provided for column
bars in the central zone.
Spacing between verticle bars.
Column C1 was found to be 465 x
1100mm while checking(proposed size
450 x 1000 mm)
Similarly C2 was measured as 760 x
770mm (proposed size 750 x 750mm) Image no 3 Image no 4

CONSTRUCTION PROCESS OF RETAINING WALL:
Clear construction area , verify property line.
Confirm retaining wall type and materials.
Choose materials based on design
requirements.
Exavate foundation trench and install
perforated pipes.
Footing is done.
Place first coarse of blocks in trench.
Securely stack subsequent blocks.
Backfill behind the wall with granular
material.
We are using the cantilever type of retaining
wall in our project. Image no 5

CHECKLIST OF RETAINING WALL:
Approved authority drawings.
Type of retaining wall.
Height and thickness of wall.
Checking of reinforcement.
Dimensions
Tightning of bars.
Material requirement and quality.
The thickness of retaining wall is
300mm in our project
Oiling to the shuttering and its
quality is good .

CONSTRUCTION PROCESS OF STAIRCASE:
Clean construction area and mark location and
dimensions.
Determine the height of each flight.
Prepare foundation or landing area according to
plan and slope.
Install tread and riser.
Install handrails for safety purpose.
We provide the reinforcement to it .
We are using the waist type of slab.
The main bar is located at the base of waist slab.
The distribution bar is provided on the main bar

CHECKLIST OF STAIRCASE:
Check the dimensions.(tread and riser)
Material quality
The uniformity of staircase from top to
bottom.
The location of staircase as per drawing.
The steps in a single flight should not be more
than 12.
Reinforcement details like dimensions of bars ,
spacing , etc.
The riser for our staircase is 157 mm and tread
is 300 mm.
