In recent years, student mental health
has emerged as a pressing global
concern, particularly among those
residing in hostel accommodations away
from home. A survey of approximately
100 university and college presidents
revealed that over two-thirds identified
student mental health as a significant
problem outside the classroom.
Whoa!
So guys, before we start the main presentation
I have a question for you……. How comfortable
are you on the scale of 1-10 to discuss mental
health with your friends.
Importance of addressing mental
heath issues :
It impacts not only academic performance but also social
interactions and overall well-being. Given that students
represent the future of our country, addressing their mental
health is crucial for societal well-being.

Overview of our methodology!!
Our methodology encompassed a survey of more
than 120 individuals within our college community
and a thorough review of over 20 scholarly articles
from universities worldwide. This dual approach
allowed us to analyse and contextualize our findings
within the broader landscape of research, ensuring a
nuanced exploration of student mental health on
campus.
