Introduction
Introduction: Women's safety is an important concern worldwide, with rising
demands for effective and accessible solutions. Wearable safety devices have
emerged as essential tools, empowering women to feel secure and confident by
offering real-time assistance and alert mechanisms in potentially dangerous
situations.

Our project aims to design and develop a wearable device tailored specifically
for women’s safety. This device will provide quick, easy access to emergency
help, equipping users with the ability to alert trusted contacts and share their
location instantly in emergencies. The design focuses on both practicality and
discretion, allowing women to use it seamlessly in daily life.

Key Features:
• Real-Time GPS Tracking: Provides accurate location data, continuously tracking the
user's location to share with emergency contacts.
• SOS Alerts: A dedicated button triggers an emergency alert, sending the user's
location to preset contacts or authorities.
• 4G Connectivity: Ensures quick and reliable data transmission, even in remote
areas, to facilitate timely assistance.
• Multi-Sensor Detection: Incorporates motion and biometric sensors to detect
abnormal patterns like sudden movements or elevated stress levels, automatically
initiating alerts if needed.
Impact of the Project: This wearable device will contribute to empowering women,

Wearable Safety Device
The concept revolves around creating a compact, wearable device designed
specifically for women's safety. The device should provide a means for women to
quickly signal for help, share their location, and enable their loved ones or emergency
responders to track them in real-time. This wearable integrates GPS and
communication technology into a discreet accessory, allowing it to be worn
comfortably and easily accessed in emergencies. By combining technology with
practical design, the project aims to address the pressing need for personal security

Core and private spaces.
Objectives
• Immediate Help Access: Enable users to quickly alert trusted contacts with a
single action.
• Location Sharing: Provide real-time location tracking, enabling others to track the
user's movements if needed.
• Discreet & User-Friendly: Design the device as a subtle accessory (e.g., bracelet,
pendant) that’s easy to wear and use without drawing attention.
• Automatic Alerts: Utilize sensors to detect distress signals (e.g., rapid movement,
stress indicators) and automatically send alerts.
2. System Components
• GPS Module: This module provides real-time tracking of the user's location. It periodically transmits the
location data to the user’s emergency contacts or a central server when activated.
• 4G Communication Module: The 4G module allows for quick data transmission, enabling reliable, fast
communication of alerts and location data. It can send SMS alerts or push notifications to a mobile app.
• Microcontroller (MCU): This is the device’s central processor, responsible for managing the GPS,
sensors, and communication module. When an SOS alert is triggered, the MCU processes the input and
coordinates data transmission.
• Motion and Biometric Sensors: These sensors help in detecting unusual activity. A motion sensor can
sense sudden movements or falls, while biometric sensors (if used) can monitor parameters like heart
rate. Abnormal readings can automatically activate the SOS alert.
• SOS Button: A single, easy-to-access button is incorporated to trigger the alert function instantly. When
pressed, it sends an emergency alert, including location data, to the pre-set contacts.
• Battery and Power Management: The device will be equipped with a rechargeable battery. Power-saving
features will be included to ensure that it can operate for extended periods on a single charge.
• Cloud Server and Mobile Application:
⚬ The cloud server receives data from the device and processes it, storing location history and
emergency alerts.
⚬ The mobile app allows emergency contacts to monitor the user’s location in real-time and receive
3. Key Features
• Real-Time Location Tracking: Users’ live location is continuously updated, allowing contacts to view it in
real-time.
• Automatic Alerts: If sensors detect unusual activity or distress, the device can automatically send
alerts, even if the user is unable to press the SOS button.
• 4G Connectivity for Fast Communication: 4G ensures that alerts and location updates reach contacts
promptly, even in areas with weaker connectivity.
• User-Friendly Design: Designed as a wearable accessory (bracelet, necklace, or ring), the device is
comfortable and discreet, reducing attention and making it ideal for daily wear.
4. Expected Impact and Benefits
• Increased Security and Confidence: Women using this device can feel more secure, knowing they have
access to immediate help in emergencies.
• Improved Emergency Response: By automatically sharing the user’s location and sending alerts,
emergency responders can reach the location faster.
• Empowerment Through Technology: This device empowers users by placing advanced safety measures
directly in their hands, helping them take proactive steps toward personal safety.
