• Personalize your letter for that company.
• Know the job ad and respond specifically
to what is in it.
• Avoid an excessive use of the first-person
pronoun.
• Focus on how your skill sets match what
the company is looking for.

INTERVIEW LETTERS
• Date , time and place of the interview
• The name of the authority before whom
the candidate has to appear.
• Advice to bring certificate and testimonials.
• Information as to whether the candidate is
entitled to any T.A or D.A
LETTER OF APPOINTMENT
• Inform of the appointment with words of
congratulations.
• The post for which appointment is done
• Name of the official to report to.
• Whether the appointment is permanent or
temporary
• The salary scale for the job, allowance and
other benefits.

CONFIRMATION LETTER
New appointments are made on probation
for a period of one or two years. During
the probation the job performance of the
employees is monitored carefully, in case
the performance is found satisfactory the
services are confirmed . Otherwise , the
services are terminated with a proper
notice to the employee. On confirmation
the employee becomes entitles to
provident fund and other benefits.
TRANSFER LETTER

A company may have to transfer some of its


employees from one factory/ office or
branch to another.
Sometimes an employee himself or herself
requests a transfer due to personal or
family reasons.
PROMOTION LETTERS
Promotion means movement of an
employee to a higher job leading to
increase in pay, power and status.
Therefore , a letter of promotion is a good
news letter.

begin.
