Reason for choosing the project


Its an innovative idea. Actually there is no awareness

of this kind of technology in southern india. So we thought to implement this kind of project so that in can be helpful for creating awareness. This technology is used in some places in northern india like mumbai where two private schools are using this type of technology. It eases the most dangerous disease called tension. Nowadays there is no guarantee of person reaching his house safely so It specifies the whereabouts of individual to there respective parents.

Whats RFID & biometrics????........

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency IDentification. The acronym refers to small electronic devices that consist of a small chip and an antenna. The chip typically is capable of carrying 2,000 bytes of data or less. Biometrics (or biometric authentication) consists

of methods for uniquely recognizing humans based upon one or more intrinsic physical or behavioral traits. In computer science, in particular, biometrics is used as a form of identity access management and access control. It is also used to identify individuals in groups that are under surveillance.

THE NEED OF TRACKING SYSTEM


This chapter discussed the implementation of RFID integrated with biometric sensor to improved

Boarding Schools (BS) management of students and facilities. BS may offer a variety of activities where conducive learning environment with good facilities such as computer room, entertainment room contribute to good way of mind relaxing and boost up brains development. Currently, most BS managements are having difficulties to monitor their students using the old-fashioned paper-based system; where the procedures are inefficient in monitoring the students whereabouts
