This course active interactive: focus on
(video/discussion/practice)
My role facility the course ( high light important points,
coaching and directing practice & exam).

Today will learn by two different ways:
Video based learning with discussion.
Practical session (learning station checklist, skill
test checklist, hands on learning station, will use
feedback device).
Use provider manual during the course and in the exam.

Any medical concern such as knee or back pain.
Building resting room ,break time area,
bathroom(male/female), emergency exit.
We have AED in….. and emergency number 911.
Keep your phone silent if important you can answer it in
the hallway.

This course 2 days(15-16 hrs)
We are schedule to end at 1700H.
We have three breaks first one at 1030h for 15 minutes, and
second one at 1300h for 30 minute and third break at 1410h for 15
minutes .

basic part:
1. Adult BLS .
2. Air way management.
3. Electrical therapy( will use defibrillation in

shockable rhythm and will use cardioversion in
unstable tachycardia .
In unstable bradycardia will use TCP.
Note : Every one will practice two scenario as
team leader.

How to complete the course:
Pass adult high quality BLS skill test.
Pass air way management skill test.
Demonstrate competency in learning station skill test.
Pass Megacode test.
you have 50 quiz, open book test but time for 60 minutes
-Minim score in written exam 84%.( focus on the video)

community ,health care provider and heath facility.

In hospital we have two team RRT, EMT(CODE
BLUE).
What are RRT? Medical , ICU, Emergency background to prevent cardiac arrest.
What are code blue? Unresponsive no pulse no breathing.

When you have to activate RRT? (rapid deterioration such as
unstable tachycardia).
In the practice in case of any signs of deterioration you must call
RRT ,IF patient become unresponsive you have to start BLS Then
Activate code blue.

What are component of high quality BLS?
Push hard/fast/recoil/interruption/switch/rate 30:2 CCF/avoid
excessive ventilation.
How to ventilate patient with or without EET?

What are the benefits of early intubation?
Minimize interruption- NO PUSES on chest compression.
Effectiveness of CPR-
If 10-15 mmg capnography/ IF less than 10mmgh unlike survive
– please do high quality CPR.

What are complication of excessive ventilation?
Gastric inflation/aspiration - increase intra-thoracic pressure-
decrease venous return- decrease cardiac out put- decrease
CPR Efficiency-decrease survival rate.
Early defibration- and early CPR.
( PVT-VF)- ventricle fibrillated-shock –reset –RESUME CPR
