Turn on/off LED indicator

 The LED indicators on APs could be turned on/off according to the actual requirement.
 Choose Wireless → LED, and turn on/off the LED setting.

Innovation • Simplicity • Experience

Load Balancing

 1) The AP reports the number of STAs/traffic information to EG;

 2) EG judges whether to continue to allow access based on the reported information: Comprehensively
consider the balance of the entire network, and make balance decisions based on the set start threshold
and traffic difference;
 3) The AP adjusts whether to allow terminal access according to the status by the EG: Respond to the
information that the terminals reach the upper limit in the disallowed state (auth response message with
Status code 17), and guide the terminal to associate with other APs.

Load Balancing

 Wireless → Wi-Fi → Load Balancing → Add

Innovation • Simplicity • Experience

Load Balancing

 Based-Clients. Set both the client count threshold and difference to 3. AP1 is associated with 5 clients and AP2 is
associated with 2 clients, triggering load balancing. New clients’ attempt to associate to AP1 will be denied, and
therefore they can associate only to AP2.

Innovation • Simplicity • Experience

Load Balancing

 Based-traffic. When the traffic load on an AP reaches 5*100Kbps and the difference between the current traffic and
the traffic on the AP with the lightest load reaches 5*100Kbps, clients can associate only to another AP in the group.
After a client association is denied by an AP for 10 times, the client will be allowed to associate to the AP upon the
next attempt.

An AP can only support one load balancing type

WIO

 Limitation
 1) When there are only RAP2200(F), RAP1200(F) and no EG in the network, WIO is not supported (no EG
and only 100M AP projects cannot be used WIO)
 2) When there is no EG in the networking, WIO can only be used for networking with less than 50 APs
(without EG, at least one 1G AP must exist, and then 50 APs can be managed by WIO)
 3) WIO can be used when there is EG
 Support Models
 Gateway: EG105G, EG105G-P, EG105GW, EG210G-P, EG105G-V2, EG210G-E

Troubleshooting - WDS

 Fault symptom:
 WDS Fail

 Cause:
 Confirm whether it is just bridged, check the blinking of the RSSI light.
 Confirm the working channel of the AP and confirm whether it is a DFS channel
 Confirm whether the deployment distance is too far or the obstruction is serious;
① Rssi >= -65dBm, 3 signal lights are always on;

② -65dBm> Rssi >= -72dBm, 2 signal lights are always on;

③ -72dBm> Rssi >= -78dBm, 1 signal light is always on;

④ -78dBm> Rssi, 1 signal light flashes.

 When the situation in ④ occurs, the signal strength is weak, and the interference is moderate, which may cause the negotiation
rate to be too low, and the local end cannot receive the network data of the opposite end

Troubleshooting - WDS

 DFS channel

 The weather channel that complies with CE regulations must be silent for 10 minutes, and the impact on
bridging will exceed 10 minutes+.
 Note: The weather channel is 116-128

Innovation • Simplicity • Experience

Troubleshooting - WDS

 Confirm the current channel interference source

 It is recommended to use a fixed channel method and choose the best channel

Innovation • Simplicity • Experience

Troubleshooting – EW

 1. Unable to connect to the Internet after the EW is installed

 It has been confirmed that the Internet is connected to the Internet through DHCP, and the network cable is
connected correctly, but the network cannot be connected. EW series need to complete quick setup before
they can access the Internet.
 2 、 Unable to login to Eweb
 1 ) Replace Google Chrome and try to see if it can be opened.
 2 ) The computer is changed to obtain IP and DNS automatically.
 3 、 Press the reset button on the master, but the slave has no response
 1 ) Confirm the master and slave distance, it needs to be less than 3 meters
 2 ) The master first completes the setup, and then starts the pairing after the indicator light is always on
after the slave is restored to the factory.
 3 ) Do not connect any network cables from the slave network port
